🌟 Community Connection & Appreciation Post 🌟

A big thank you to St John Paul II Centre for the lovely Monthly Coffee Morning where some of our caring team joined today! ☕💛
It’s always such a pleasure to meet members of our local community and enjoy friendly conversations over a warm cup of coffee.

We would also like to give a special mention to the Methodist Church in Bicester, who host their welcoming Community Lunch every Friday from 12:00–1:30pm — a wonderful place to enjoy good food and company.

✨ We were delighted to attend Older People’s Day at Bicester East Community Centre yesterday– and what a fantastic event it was! ✨
It was wonderful to meet so many friendly faces and connect with local organisations, including:
🔹 Bicester Green – Sarah and her colleague explained how their repair and recycling projects enhance waste diversion in repairing bikes, electrical appliances, and wood.
🔹 Age UK Oxfordshire – Troy shared the wide range of services and activities available to support older adults in our community.
🔹 Bicester Leisure Centre – the team spoke about their Good Boost classes and pain management programmes, especially helpful for those with joint or muscular pain.
🔹 Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service – who provided electric blanket testing, offering safety and peace of mind.

The event was full of community spirit, helpful advice, and support for older people. 🌿

At GoodOaks Homecare, we’re proud to support older adults every day, helping them live well and independently. 💚

👏👏 We’re celebrating Bicester Older People’s Day! 👏👏
