Yoga – New Term begins this Sunday

Come and join our friendly well- established Yoga group.

Wanting to try Yoga for the first time, or wanting to return after a break?

Yoga is a great way to improve your health and well-being physically and mentally.

This class is suitable for all – young or old or somewhere in between and you don’t have to be able to touch your toes.

A great way to end your weekend and to have time for yourself to be ready for the following week.

I am a fully qualified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and have loved teaching this class for the past seven years.

All equipment provided.

When: 7 - 8pm Sunday evenings, starting Sunday 7th September 2025.

Where: Biddulph Moor Village Hall, Hot Lane, ST8 7HP

Cost: 7 classes £45.50 (i.e. £6.50 per class). Individual classes £8.50

Nice to see old and new faces down at the Centre, benefitting from Yoga. Many thanks to everyone involved.

On Saturday 18th January 2020 as part of the UK National Iyengar Yoga Day, Congleton Iyengar Yoga Centre opened its doors to the local community, offering a Family yoga session and an Adult yoga class.

Three generations of one family, amongst others participated together; jumping, rolling, stretching and extending to be mountains, trees, boats and dogs amongst other things! This lively class was taught by Christine Andrew.

Then Louise Wallace taught to a packed house as new and more experienced students enjoyed beginner’s class of standing poses. Julie Pieczarka and Mark Castle assisted the students with props and support.

What was nice to hear as people were leaving was how much they had enjoyed the open events.
