I did some brilliant training with North Devon UNESCO biosphere. The training included some great wildlife identification tips, teaching us about some of the incredible creatures we have in our area, how to make a business more sustainable and small steps you can make that make a big difference to the environment and the legality of MPAs and protected species. Not necessarily directly relevant to sport therapy, but I think it’s important for businesses to take an interest in the area in which they operate. I am
In the privileged position of being able to meet and treat lots of people and can now share that knowledge.
Fully recommend this free training, we can all make a difference 🙂 North Devon Unesco Biosphere

People often read reviews before they trust a service, so please if you’ve had great results or a lovely experience with someone, leave them a review!
Most websites have the review option, Facebook also has a review option, and of course there’s Google reviews. Getting good feedback can make all the difference for a business. Show your appreciation 💙

I love it when I get clients who are presenting with different things. Today my first appointment was someone who first came to me last year with chronic back pain. After session 1 most of her day to day activities were pain free and after session 2 she only got the occasional nighle. She’s now pain free.
Appointment 2, a chap who had hurt his back moving a big full flower pot in the garden. Typical rotation and flexión injury. We talked about core strength and massaged the muscle spasm away.

Appointment 3, a student who is training for a half marathon. She’d had gait analysis and had been told she had a neutral gait but actually had a slight probation which was causing problems all the way up her leg. I did some manual techniques to release some tight muscles then We went through some exercises including glute activation and stretches, and I recommended some insoles to lift her arch a little.

Let’s see what else the day brings……

The sea is my happy place, and diving is for me the ultimate meditation, when I can really just focus on breathing, connecting with my body, and staying in the moment.
What or where is your happy place, and how do you find your focus?

And relax!!
A day in the clinic is amazing! I get so much from seeing new people, finding out about not only their pain but also the things they love to do in their spare time. I also love catching up with clients who have been regulars for years, some of them feel more like friends now and so an hour passes so quickly!
After a day of treatments I get home and I’m ready to relax. I normally cook something nutritious and tasty then have a glass of wine and cuddle up to read a book.

What do you do after a busy day at work?

15/01/2026

Busy day in the clinic today.
Clients included: a carer who has back and shoulder pain and wants better thoracic mobility, a lady who spends a lot of time in front of a laptop for work and is getting migraines, and a cricketer who wants to get ready for the new season.
I love meeting different people and being able to help them physically but also provide programmes, advice to help them achieve their aims.

The human body is AMAZING!!!
How can I help you get the most from yours?
