Feeling a little flat... a little blah! Iām on day 3 of a bad headache. Low energy, lack focus, enthusiasm, balance is off and even cracking a smile is an effort.

I dislike these feelings and once upon a time I would have resisted, ignored and without fail entered into a downward spiral of negative self talk, self pity and self hate.

Through yoga, I have learned over the years to embrace these feelings, not to push pass them but to allow them to pass through me, accept and honour them.

Restorative yoga encourages us to find a calm, steady breath, creates space to be present and journey deeper inwards to explore and be curious and to meet whatever arises with grace. Itās nurturing, soothing and 100% my go to practice for self care ... and helps me find my inner smile šš
