She has over 17 years experience in assessing and treating horses in North Devon, North Cornwall and Jersey. Amy is a Chartered Physiotherapist, with a specialist interest in horses, who serves vet practices and clients in Devon, Cornwall and Jersey. Amy is a category A member of ACPAT (the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapists), CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapists), HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and RAMP (Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners). She is fully qualified, regulated and insured, and is based near Bideford in North Devon. Amy was inspired to take up Veterinary Physiotherapy as a career at a young age. She graduated from Coventry University in 2004 with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy before going on to complete a Masters Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 2008. She also worked as a Junior Physiotherapist at Derriford Hospital as well a Senior Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal Outpatients. Amy has a keen interest in Eventing, and breeding and producing sports ponies. She has previously produced a horse to 1* level and is also keen competitor at local BS and BD shows. Two event ponies - one at BE100 level, another at BE90, and two dressage ponies, a 9yo about to make her debut at Advanced-Medium and a 7yo with the potential to make a top level FEI dressage pony.
