🫶🏻 NEURODIVERSITY CELEBRATION WEEK 🫶🏻
“Neurodiversity, for me, is about understanding that not everyone experiences the world in the same way - and that’s not something to fix, it’s something to learn from.
Working in care, I’ve had so many moments where someone I support has completely shifted my perspective. Whether it’s the way they communicate, the way they find joy in something small, or just their honesty - it makes you slow down and really think about how you approach things.
One thing that sticks with me is how important it is to meet people where they’re at. Not rushing, not expecting, just taking the time to understand. When you do that, you see people relax, open up, and just be themselves - and that’s when the best moments happen.
It’s not always straightforward, but it’s always worth it.”
