Further to this mornings message, our clinical systems are now back up and running.

24/12/2025

The Practice would like to advise patients that our clinical system is down this morning, and as such we have no access to our appointments screen. This has been logged for urgent rectification with the Health Boards IT teams, and we hope to have access available as soon as possible. We sincerely apologise to our patients for any issues this may cause.

23/12/2025

The Practice would like to advise patients that it will close at 6pm on Wednesday 24th of December, and reopen at 8am on Monday 29th of December. It is expected that phone lines will be exceptionally busy between 8am and and 9am on the 29th and 30th of Dec. In order to prevent longer wait times, we would like to remind our patients that the first hour is reserved for immediate on the day care appointment requests. All other requests can be made from 9am onwards.

Everyone at the practice would like to thank all our patients for their understanding at such a busy time.

17/12/2025

Our I.T/phone systems are now working as normal. We thank our patients again for their understanding this morning.

17/12/2025

We are experiencing problems with our telephone/I.T system this morning (17/12/25). This has been reported and is currently being investigated. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank our patients for their ongoing support. Further uodates to follow.

09/12/2025

The practice would like to advise patients that demand on services is resulting in longer call wait times to get connected to our Patient Advisors. 720 calls were received across the 5th and 8th of December. For the same period last year, 421 calls were received. Additional clinical and non clinical resource has been secured to support demand, however it is expected that with the current flu outbreak, this will continue for the remainder of the week.

IT issues
Please be aware that due to ongoing, unforeseen I.T system issues, which are out with our control, there may be a delay with any routine requests. Urgent matters will still be given priority.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank our patients for their understanding and co-operation

The Practice is currently preparing for the installation of a new clinical system, which will take place early next year. As such, a significant upgrade to its IT systems is required in advance, meaning that all phones and other systems will be offline. To minimise disruption to patients, the upgrade has been planned to coincide with NHS Lanarkshire's Practice Training Day, whereby the practice would normally be closed in the afternoon. As such the practice will be closed from 12pm Wednesday 19th until 8am on Thursday 20th Nov. On Wednesday 19th, all systems will be offline between 12pm and 2pm. However between 2pm and 6pm if you require acute or urgent medical attention please call the practice as usual and you will be diverted to dedicated call handlers who will triage you to the most appropriate person. For routine enquiries such as blood results or repeat prescriptions, please call when the practice re-opens. Thank you.
