I chose to boycott (strong word I know) International Women’s Day this year because the theme ‘Give to Gain’ didn’t land well with me.

I decided instead to do a Friday 13th, day of the Goddess post to celebrate amazing local women running their own business. I can’t find a way to tag their actual business pages 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I’ll drop links in the comments. Please do check out their pages and show them some love 💗

The Fire Horse has arrived, bringing forward momentum, vitality and a spirit that can't be tamed.

This year feels very different to last. It's a year to courageously and confidently stand up and be counted...personally, professionally and also in your community.

The world may feel like it's going to hell in a handcart but we all have power and influence over our own realms. Small, consistent efforts will be all the tinder the Fire Horse needs to get up to a full gallop.

Find a quiet space to sit for a few minutes today. Take a few deep breaths. Exhale fully, letting go of anything that feels 'old' and unserving. Feel a fire start to build in your belly. Breathe in and feel the fire grow with all that lovely oxygen 🔥 tend to the fire...what thoughts would you like to feed it with? What could be borne from your personal fire?
