It was an honour to support Lia's Wings charity this week to fly Lucy home from Poland for urgent treatment in the UK.

We are looking for a highly motivated nurse or paramedic to join our team of flight coordinators at SkyCare. Founded this year, SkyCare is London's first and only international fixed-wing flight repatriation service, based at London Biggin Hill Airport.

This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the coordination of the SkyCare clinical service by answering enquiries, preparing quotations, coordinating missions and assisting with any tasks required to maintain the service.

This position has the potential to develop into a role that includes a high degree of autonomy in specifying the clinical team and operational plan for a commercial medical es**rt or air ambulance mission under the ultimate supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).

🚀 A huge milestone for SkyCare! 🚀

We won’t shout about every mission, but this one is special—our first in this aircraft! A patient was safely repatriated from an ITU in Alicante back to the UK, with BM Ambulance Group ensuring a smooth hospital transfer on arrival.

Of course, our pilots had an extra duty—capturing a few shots on the ground! 📸 Huge shout-out to First Officer Joe for completing his longest flight yet—another step closer to that ATPL! ✈️

A massive thank you to everyone involved. Seamless teamwork makes all the difference, and this is just the start. Here’s to many more safe journeys ahead!
