🚀 A huge milestone for SkyCare! 🚀

We won’t shout about every mission, but this one is special—our first in this aircraft! A patient was safely repatriated from an ITU in Alicante back to the UK, with BM Ambulance Group ensuring a smooth hospital transfer on arrival.

Of course, our pilots had an extra duty—capturing a few shots on the ground! 📸 Huge shout-out to First Officer Joe for completing his longest flight yet—another step closer to that ATPL! ✈️

A massive thank you to everyone involved. Seamless teamwork makes all the difference, and this is just the start. Here’s to many more safe journeys ahead!

This past weekend, we brought together some of the UK’s top healthcare professionals for an intensive aviation medical training session. From Altitude Physiology to Aircraft Safety and Crew Resource Management (CRM), our team is now even better prepared to deliver world-class aeromedical care.

With a 40-strong team of highly skilled clinicians, we can now care for Adult, Paediatric, and Neonatal patients—right up to Level 3 Intensive Care. Whether in the air or on the ground, SkyCare Repatriation is setting new standards in air ambulance and medical repatriation across the UK and Europe.

We are proud to announce that our international aeromedical retrieval service goes live on Monday 17th February following an intense week that included final fitting of the aircraft stretcher system, medical equipment testing, and training with the pilots and team of nurses, paramedics and doctors.

Next weekend we have 30 specialists in intensive care medicine, paediatrics and neonatology joining us from across London and the South East to train together for our specialist missions.

Standing Together in Tragedy

We are deeply saddened to hear of the tragic air ambulance crash that claimed the lives of six people, including a child. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to the families, colleagues, and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this devastating incident.

As an air ambulance provider, we at SkyCare Repatriation understand the risks and dedication involved in this vital service. Every mission is driven by the commitment to saving lives, and this loss is felt deeply across our entire industry.

We stand in solidarity with our fellow air ambulance professionals during this difficult time. It is essential that investigators are given the space to carry out their work to understand what happened and ensure the continued safety of those who serve in the skies.
