🧡 SUNDAY SHOUT OUT 🧡 to our 7pm Monday member Vicki!! I LOVE sharing member success, read on to find out more about Vicki's experience so far...

"Joining Slimming World has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself, and this week feels like a milestone worth celebrating.

From the very start, my new group has made all the difference. There’s something special about walking into a room where you feel supported, understood, and genuinely encouraged. A huge part of that is down to our consultant, Rachel. You can tell she truly cares about every single member. Her encouragement has helped me stay focused, even on the tougher weeks.

One of the smartest things I did was join with a friend. Having someone alongside me on this journey has kept me motivated in ways I didn’t expect. Whether it’s sharing recipes, celebrating small wins, or just keeping each other accountable, it’s made the whole experience more enjoyable—and a lot more sustainable.

This week I’ve achieved three awards, which feels amazing and really shows how far I’ve come. Even more exciting, I’ve dropped a full dress size since joining, and I’ve now lost 1.5 stone in total. Seeing those changes—not just on the scales but in how my clothes fit and how I feel—has been such a boost.

I’m proud of the progress I’ve made, but even more than that, I’m grateful for the support system around me. With my group, Rachel’s guidance, and my friend by my side, I finally feel like I’m on a journey I can stick to—and enjoy. 🫶"

KATSU CHICKEN LOADED SALT + PEPPER CHIPS WITH CURRY SAUCE FOR 2 🌶️🍟🍛

Errrrrr so this was absolutely insane and hit the spot!!! I love a Slimming World friendly Fakeaway 🙌🏼 Real food and Real results ❤️

INGREDIENTS:
❤️ 2 X large chicken breasts (cut into smaller fillets pieces)
❤️ 16g cornflakes (mine were Sainsbury's) 3 SWIPS
❤️ 1 wholemeal bap (healthy extra fibre choice)
❤️ 2 eggs (whisked to create an egg wash)
❤️ 0.5 tsp smoked paprika, 0.5 tsp chilli powder and 1 tsp JD seasoning chicken rub
❤️ 1 large potato (or 2 medium sized ones) cut up
❤️ Frylight
❤️ 1 X red pepper, 1 X white onion (chopped) and spring onion to garnish
❤️ 11g Yo Sushi salt and pepper seasoning 1 SWIP
❤️ Yo Sushi KATSU curry sauce sachet (1/4 of the pack is 2 SWIPS)

METHOD:
❤️ Put the pre cut chips into a saucepan of boiling water and bring back to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes, drain well and tip into a foiled and sprayed tray. Put these in the oven or airfryer at the same time as the chicken. Spray with frylight and toss in half the salt and pepper seasoning to coat.
❤️ Meanwhile, blitz the cornflakes, bap and seasoning in a food processor
❤️ Dip the chicken fillets into the egg wash and then the breadcrumb/cornflake mix
❤️ Repeat the last step (hello double dip 😂🙌🏼)
❤️ Arrange the chicken in a single layer either on a pre sprayed foiled oven tray or I cooked mine in the air fryer on 180 bake mode for 18-20 mins until golden and cooked through (gently turn half way through the cooking time)
❤️ Cook the chips for 15-20 mins on 180 bake mode until golden/cooked through. Half way through I added the sliced red pepper and onion which I pan fried for a few minutes in Frylight and the other half of the seasoning
❤️ Make the sauce according to the packet
❤️ Add the salt and pepper chips to bowls, top with half of the chicken and serve the amount of sauce you are willing to spend your Swips on.
❤️ Garnish with chopped spring onions

(4 Swips and Half fibre choice per person)

Enjoy 👩🏼‍🍳

(Anything I have airfried can go in the oven. I've taken step by step photos to add to stories too)

😂 In the words of Jeremy Clarkson...I did a thing!!! 😂

You will know if you have been following my page for a while I'm LOVING the new addition of wholemeal flour to the Slimming World healthy extras 🙌🏼

I've made flatbreads and pizzas..but this morning I thought I would experiment and try a bagel 🥯 using....wait for it....a doughnut mould (because that's all I had and I like a little challenge)

Anyway....it only flipping worked!!!

Same mixture as before ⬇️

45g wholemeal flour (HEF)
2.5 TBSP FF greek yogurt
0.5 tsp baking powder
The above is per person

(This made 2 little bagels each)

I had 35g lighter mozzarella (half HEC) in mine with turkey bacon, sliced beef tomato, 40g avocado (Half HE Fats) half TBSP reduced fat green pesto (0.5 Swip) and rocket.....🥗 OMG Soooooo good!!!

Next time will be trying one bigger bagel and mixing it up with different fillings...what are we thinking??!! ⬇️

🥙 Slimming World Tandoori chicken loaded flatbread 🥙

An absolute game changer and coming in at 2.5 swips, a fibre choice and half a calcium choice 🙌🏼

INGREDIENTS:
❤️ 1 pack Asda tandoori chicken (chilled aisle) 1 swip
❤️ 1/4 red pepper and 1/4 red onion chopped speed
❤️ 45g wholemeal flour - fibre choice
❤️ FF greek yogurt to mix with the flour to make a dough for the flatbread (free)
❤️ Pinch of salt (free)
❤️ Extra salad to garnish

METHOD:
❤️ Same method as the stuffed crust pizza I have previously shared - mix flour and FF yogurt together to form a dough ball (reserve some flour to roll out in)
❤️ Use a rolling pin to create a thin, flatbread shaped base
❤️ I then popped in the airfryer on bake mode for 5 mins each side, removed and then added most of a TBSP of mango chutney (1.5 Swips)
❤️ In a separate drawer I heated up the tandoori chicken
❤️ I then added the tandoori chicken which I cut up, the pepper and red onion. Finished with 20g grated mozzarella and back into the airfryer for 5 - 6 mins until golden
❤️ Serve with salad, yevrestvof the mango chutney and a mint/yogurt dressing....bon appetit 👩🏼‍🍳

📢 SATURDAY SHOUT OUT 📢

Check out this gorgeous lady!! Our fabulous Monday 7pm member Jenny has absolutely smashed it since joining our lovely group!

We could not be more chuffed or proud of her!! Jenny is in group every week working on her weight loss goals. She loves sharing her top tips for staying on track, losing weight whilst still socialising and cooking meals the whole family can enjoy 🥰

She says, "Seven years is a long time to be chasing something that always seems just out of reach. For me, that “something” was weight loss. I’ve started journeys before, many times, in fact, but they often ended the same way: with frustration, self-doubt, and the quiet feeling that maybe it just wasn’t meant for me.

That changed when I walked into the Slimming World group in Biggleswade.

From the very beginning, something felt different. This time, it wasn’t about pressure or perfection; it was about me. For the first time, I truly believed that this journey belonged to me, that my goals mattered, and that I was capable of reaching them. That shift in mindset has been everything.

A huge part of that has been Rachel. Her encouragement from day one has been nothing short of amazing. She has this way of making you feel supported without ever feeling judged. There’s no guilt, no shame; just understanding, positivity, and a genuine belief in every single person who walks through the door.

And then there’s the group itself. Staying to group each week has made such a difference. In just a few short weeks, people know my name. They ask how I’m doing. They celebrate my wins and lift me up on the tougher days. That sense of community is powerful, it makes you want to keep going, even when your motivation dips and you question whether it’s worth it.

The awards you receive along the way aren’t just about numbers on a scale, they’re a reflection of the passion and support within the group. They show that this isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about building something sustainable, something that fits into real life.

And that’s what I love most. This journey doesn’t mean putting life on hold. When I went on a three-week holiday and came back having gained 2lb, I was nervous. In the past, that might have been enough to derail me completely. But instead of judgment, I was met with celebration; celebration for enjoying a milestone I had worked so hard for, and encouragement to keep going.

That moment meant everything. It showed me that this isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being consistent, kind to yourself, and committed for the long term.

I can honestly say that I love Slimming World. More importantly, for the first time in years, I feel like this isn’t just another attempt.

This is forever."

Please give her the biggest cheer in the comments - she absolutely deserves it!! ❤️🎉🏆🥳

🐣 On plan Mini egg brownies made with the cutest helper 🐣

Makes 24
5 Swips per brownie
ready in 40 mins
vegetarian and freezer-friendly

Tip: If you’re more of a Creme Egg person, leave out the Mini Eggs and use 12 Mini Creme Eggs, halved. Just pop half an egg on top of each slice (4½ Swips in total per brownie).

Ingredients:

150g dates, chopped
110g low-fat spread (up to 30% fat), suitable for baking
4 x 11g sachets low-calorie drinking chocolate
4 level tbsp sweetener granules
60g caster sugar
3 eggs
110g self-raising flour
1 level tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
48 Cadbury Mini Eggs, half of them roughly chopped, the rest left whole or lightly crushed
1 level tsp icing sugar, to dust

Method:

1. Preheat your oven to 180°C/fan 160°C/gas 4 and line a 30cm x 20cm baking tin with baking paper.

2. Put the dates in a bowl, cover with just-boiled water and leave to soak for 10 minutes. Drain well.

3. At the same time, melt the spread in a pan, then remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate powder, sweetener and sugar. Add the eggs and whisk until well combined.

4. Sift in the flour and baking powder and stir. Add the dates, vanilla essence and roughly chopped Mini Eggs and mix well. Pour into the tin and bake for 20 minutes, or until just set (it will firm as it cools).

5. Set aside on a rack to cool slightly, then cut into 24 pieces. Top each piece with the remaining Mini Eggs and dust with the icing sugar to serve.

Enjoy!! x

🐔🍕 Chicken pizza pockets 🍕🐔

OMG these were so good!!! (Much needed after a rubbish week too!) Think calzone without all the calories/Swips!! 🙌🏼

Super easy too....

❤️ 1 packet Lean chicken mince
❤️ Seasoning (I used JD seasoning chicken rub) Garlic granules and oregano
❤️ Fillings -
Ham/olives/cheese/tomato puree and garlic
Reduced fat pesto and grated mozzarella
Pepperoni/cheese/tomato puree and garlic
❤️ This made 3 separate chicken calzone/pizza pockets
❤️ I sprinkled the pizza pocket with oregano, garlic granules and some of the chicken rub to get a bit of a crust in the top

The pepperoni slices were 1 Swip each (I used 2 in one pizza pocket cut up) The reduced fat pesto was 1 Swip per TBSP (I used 1 TBSP in 1 pizza pocket)

❤️ I cooked in the air fryer for 15-20 mins

Everything else was free/speed 💪🏼🥗 this is an awesome SP meal guys!! Save as an idea for later 📍🙌🏼
