Such a beautiful day and a privilege to have time to enjoy it. ❤️

The damaged wall in the Saxon Leisure Centre sports hall has enabled a move of the yoga class to the Sandy Centre's beautiful new studio. 😊 So a trial run today to cycle over there from the chapel.

It's a great cross country cycle over the common and through the RSPB reserve. A crisp morning and bright sunshine making even more enjoyable. There were hundreds of starlings roosting on the common delighting me with a mermeration as I passed!

Saxon Yoga will stay at Sandy at least until the end of the year.

My Story

I discovered the benefits of himalayan bowls whilst on a pamper day recovering from breast cancer treatment. After surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy I was left with a number of side effects. Peripheral neuropathy, muscle fatigue and the stress of treatment made relaxation challenging. The wonderful harmonies and sonic vibrations of the himalayan bowls unlocked the tension and I could once again completely relax. I had thought I was relaxed, but in that moment I suddenly realised I hadn’t been at all.

I was so amazed by the experience I needed to find out more and went on to learn about and train in the use of a variety of instruments for use in sound therapy.

Each style of instrument has their own qualities, soothing and nurturing us when we are at our most vulnerable through to empowering and energising us when we are strong. Each session is individual and very personal to us. It is a pleasure to share this beautiful practise and enable others to relax and restore physially, emotionally and spiritually.

Kay is a fully trained crystal bowl and himalayan bowl practitioner with the College of Sound Healing and gong practitioner with Mehtab Benton, Gong Dharma.
