Recent media coverage regarding the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) regulation of the funeral plan market, which will take effect from 29 July 2022, suggested that some funeral planning companies may leave the market entirely. The Trustees of The Golden Charter Trust would like to reassure the customers and plan holders of Golden Charter funeral plans that we welcome greater regulation of the market.
