It is with the greatest sadness that we have to tell you that Terry passed away the Friday before last. He had been unwell for a little while, but passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

We’ve all been spending time as a family and remembering the wonderful moments that we all shared with him and the smiles that he brought to so many faces.

We are planning a Celebration of Life for Terry at the end of March, if you’d like to come along, please do drop us a message for further details.

It was a difficult day at DIS today, but as always, our guys pulled together to not only start a sculpture, paint the wood for the hanging planters and pot the rest of the flowers for the sensory garden, they supported one another as a team, as friends, as humans.

We are so proud of their capabilities.

Today was 'What's-that-still-here-for Wednesday'.

With the completed construction of the new and improved woodshed, it meant that this bad boy could be destroyed!

Congratulations and thanks to all of the team's hard work in building the new structure, transferring all of the useable wood across, and for keeping a safe distance whilst our trainer Louie smashed up what was left!

Today marks the start of our safety refresher training at DIS. Every one of the team are being re-learned about fire safety controls: what can cause a fire and how to prevent that, what to do if someone finds a fire, and where the evacuation points are. This is a steadily paced but imperitive process for the guys as we want to ensure everybody is safe at all times.
