Recently, we have been welcoming Get Golfing, a Brentwood-based company that visits care homes around Essex ⛳️

Each session runs for two hours, giving residents the chance to practise their target aim and enjoy putting activities in a fun and relaxed setting. It’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone to stay active, build confidence, and connect with others.

We’ve loved seeing the smiles, focus, and friendly competition these sessions bring a fantastic addition to our activities, and we look forward to many more visits!

Today we had the most wonderful visit from a very special little guest 🐾💛

Four fluffy Pomeranian joined us for a pet therapy session, and it’s safe to say there were smiles all around! Residents and team loved spending time stroking, cuddling, and chatting with our four-legged friend. The joy and comfort animals bring is truly something special. Sparking memories, encouraging conversation, and brightening everyone’s day.

Moments like these remind us how important companionship and connection are ❤️

Yesterday’s St George’s Day celebrations were one for the history books… or at least for a very entertaining medieval tale 🐉⚔️

Our team fully committed with knights in shining armour bravely taking on a very convincing dragon (who may or may not have been enjoying the role a little too much 😄)

Alongside the epic battles, we had a lively quiz, fantastic live singing, plenty of cake, and spritzers flowing in the garden 🍹🌸

Safe to say, no dragons were harmed… but a few slices of cake didn’t stand a chance.

Last week, our residents jetted off to Egypt as part of our monthly travel club ✈️

Our wonderful lifestyles team brought the experience to life by dressing in traditional Egyptian attire and sharing fascinating travel stories. Residents enjoyed taking part in an Egyptian quiz, learning fun facts and trivia, and even trying out some traditional dance moves.

Of course, no travel day is complete without delicious treats our kitchen team prepared some fantastic themed goodies, including cupcakes topped with icing inspired by the Egyptian flag and beautifully decorated with special touches.

We had an amazing time welcoming our Elvis performer to the home and what a show it was! 💙

Residents, team, and visitors were treated to all the classic hits, with plenty of singing along, toe-tapping, and even a bit of dancing, we were all shook up. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and hear everyone joining in with such familiar favourites. 🎶

Music has such a special way of bringing back memories and lifting spirits, and today was a perfect example of that. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a joyful occasion.

What a wonderfully busy and joyful weekend we’ve had! From fantastic live entertainment to a fun-filled Easter egg hunt, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The Easter Bunny made a special visit to our home, bringing smiles to residents and team alike

We wrapped up the celebrations with a truly eggcellent Easter cake the perfect sweet ending to a lovely weekend!

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from everyone at Anisha Grange care home! 🍀

Today has been filled with music, laughter plenty of Guinness and of course an abundance of Irish spirit!

Our residents enjoyed a fantastic live singer who had everyone tapping their feet and singing along to some classic tunes, (no takers for the Irish dancing though)

Our kitchen team prepared a delicious Irish-themed menu, topped off with a homemade cake that went down an absolute treat! A big thank you to our amazing team for making the day so special.
