We’re thrilled to celebrate a major milestone in St Mellons, Cardiff! 🎉

Construction has begun on Hallmark Melrose Grange, our first fully electric luxury care home. Together with our local partner, Langstone Construction, we marked the occasion with a symbolic ‘spade in the ground’ ceremony - the first step toward creating a home where residents and families can thrive.

This 85 bed home will feature:
🌱 Green technologies like Air Source Heat Pumps & Solar Panels
🌿 Landscaping designed to support local wildlife and biodiversity
🍏 A dementia-friendly, calming garden with sensory plants and an easy-to-tend fruit patch.

Hallmark Melrose Grange is our fifth luxury care home in Cardiff and will create 115 jobs locally.

Today is This MHFAiderDay!

At Hallmark, we’re proud to have 170 trained Mental Health First Aiders ready to provide support, a listening ear, or an arm around the shoulder for anyone who needs a helping hand. 💚

Today, we’re celebrating them with a small gift to thank them for ensuring no one feels alone in times of need and for making a real difference every day. 🌟

At 11am today, our homes will pause for a two-minute silence to honour Armistice Day - a time to remember and give thanks to the brave members of our armed forces who gave their lives in the line of duty and in service to our country.

At the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, we will remember them.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 💚🚶‍♀️

To mark World Mental Health Day recently, our team and wonderful residents took part in our annual Walking Challenge!

Over a week, our goal was to virtually walk around all of our homes four times, a total of 2,852 miles. Last year, we reached 2,407 miles… but this year, we went even further!

Together, we achieved an amazing 𝟯,𝟭𝟳𝟲 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀!

A huge congratulations to our top three homes with the highest step counts:

🥇 1st Place – Hallmark Hutton View
🥈 2nd Place – Hallmark Willingdon Park Manor
🥉 3rd Place – Hallmark Lakeview

Each of these homes will receive £250 to donate to a charity of their choice.

This challenge was about more than just steps, it was about moving for our minds, connecting with each other, and supporting mental wellbeing across our community. Here’s to every step we take, for ourselves and for each other 💚
