Meet Mr Ravi Ray — Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon. His focus is upper limb conditions, and he carefully guides patients towards the most appropriate pathway for them — whether that’s lifestyle modification, targeted exercise therapy, injections, or surgery. He is skilled in both keyhole and open techniques, and believes in educating and involving patients throughout their journey.

Mr Ray also has a strong background in Sports Medicine, holding a formal Diploma, and has applied this within elite sport — working with amateur boxers as an accredited England Boxing Doctor, and supporting professional rugby players within London Irish RFC.

🔖 Check their microchips and ID tags are up to date — just in case.

How did you sleep last night? 😴🌙

That perfect 8 hours can feel hard to come by when life’s busy — and you’re not alone. Around 16 million people in the UK regularly struggle with sleepless nights.

If that sounds familiar, here are a few simple ideas that can help:

🥾 Get outdoors and move
Spending time outside helps your body tune in to nature’s light-and-dark rhythm, which supports a healthy sleep-wake cycle. Regular exercise also makes it easier to fall asleep by reducing “sleep onset” — the time it takes to drift off once you’re in bed.

🖊️ Write it down
It’s common for racing thoughts to appear the moment we try to rest. Jotting them down before bed can help clear your mind, so worries don’t swirl when you’re trying to sleep. You can revisit your list in the morning with a fresh, calmer mindset.

⏰ Stick to a routine
Going to bed and waking up at the same time each day helps train your body to expect rest. It may take a few days to adjust, but soon you’ll naturally start feeling tired at bedtime.

📵 Step away from screens
