Having fun, keeping active and receiving the best of care is what living at Hadrian Park care home is all about. The team provides residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care that is personalised to the needs and interests of each individual. As many residents at Hadrian Park are living with dementia, the team has undertaken extensive dementia training to deliver the highest

standard of care. The home has dementia-friendly spaces, including a Namaste care room, vintage-style tea room and interactive space in the courtyard gardens. Most bedrooms have direct access to the enclosed, safe gardens, and there are seating areas and raised flower beds that residents help to keep looking lovely through the seasons.

So this week we will be celebrating STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

This Staff Appreciation Week, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to every member of our care home team. The work you do goes far beyond a job — it’s a calling. Every day, you wear so many hats: offering emotional support, providing reassurance, showing resilience, patience, and compassion when it’s needed most.

Even during the most difficult times, you continue to give your all — often carrying the weight of your work long after your shift ends, wondering if you’ve done enough. Please remember: you are more than enough. What you do matters deeply, and it makes a real difference in the lives of those you care for.

I feel incredibly lucky and proud to have such a dedicated, kind, and hardworking team. You are truly appreciated — today and every day. Thank you for everything you do.

Yesterday we said a fond farewell to Cath as she has retired. Cath worked for Hadrian park for over 21 years and put her heart and soul into many different positions. Cath will be missed by all and we wish her a very happy retirement. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
