Looking for a mobile hairdresser for a client of mine … Stockton on tees area .. can anyone make any recommendations - she’s wanting a cut and blow dry (she has gorgeous long hair) and then to discuss possible colour / highlights. Powered wheelchair user so having difficulty accessing hair salons.

What a first day back that was … Doesnt a bit of routine and structure make such a difference to our daily life 🙌🏻

Whilst I’ve enjoyed the ‘time off’ I am taking stock of my own advice today and it feels good 💚

The snow flurry also made it the prettiest of days to return ..2026 here we go 💚🤍

As the year draws to a close (nearly) I’d just like to extend our well wishes for a festive relaxing Christmas and New Year Break.

It’s been a pleasure to support all of our special clients, make new connections and work alongside colleagues old and new.

We continue to feel very privileged to do what we do and look forward to everything 2026 has to offer.

Tor and I worked together many many moons ago in our NHS roles, she’s one of those people who you just know, regardless of time and where life has taken you, that you feel right at home with 👏🏼 it’s like we’ve never been apart .

Tor is a super talented, extremely artistic, and highly experienced OT. She has fit right in with us all here at OT Rehab NE and Tees Neuro Physio and we feel very lucky to have her join our squad 💚

We can’t wait for you all to meet her 💪🏼

Does anyone know of any opportunities for a young man looking for a role as a handy persons ‘mate’ / labouring, this would initially be in a voluntary capacity for 1-2 days a week?

This young man has demonstrated some excellent skills in this area, he is very practically minded, a great person to around , motivated and super keen 👏🏼

Eeee… what a week 💚

Another mad one for the OT Rehab North East team, and I bloody love it ! Jenny Alsop Rahilla Pearson and the new Victoria (a well kept secret for now 😉) xx

It started off with pasta making (which was brilliant btw) and ended with Alpacas 🦙 inbetween that, our clients (and the team) have painted and decorated (finishing touches I promise lol ) made wooden lamps, baked cakes, went off roading in the most amazing wheelchairs, planned daily meal menus, budgeted, booked holidays, sorted out our art and craft group activity, ordered complex jigsaws 🤣 (don’t under estimate the power of a good jigsaw guys) planned and purchased furniture for a client to make her room her own, met with the most amazing travel company to finalise the holiday of dreams, did park runs and played bowling … this to name but a few.

I also met with a lovely OT student (and he brought biscuits 🍪) who was wanting to find out more about … so refreshing to hear his enthusiasm… possibly one to keep an eye on 🤓

Alongside this and with the brilliant MacGregor and her team Tees Neuro Physiotherapy Ltd, we are service developing (exciting 💚🩵) , planning our event and entertaining the troops with a little dance and crazy story 🫶🏼🤍 …

JOB OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team in the position of Specialist Therapy Assistant.
This is a permanent post (37.5 hours per week).
Previous experience in a health care setting is essential and experience of working in a rehabilitation setting will be advantageous. Driving will be essential in order to fulfil the requirements of this role.
You will work with clients with neurological conditions including brain and spinal cord injury and therefore must have exceptional communication skills.
Will be subject to enhanced DBS checks.
