Billingshurst Osteopaths

Billingshurst Osteopaths Osteopathy for all - Treatment for back pain, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, sports injuries, whiplash and cranial osteopathy.

Cranial Osteopathy
Cranial Osteopathy is a refined and subtle type of Osteopathic treatment that encourages the releases of stresses and tensions throughout the body including the head. It is gentle and extremely effective and used in a wide range of conditions of all ages from birth to old age. Osteopathy for Adults
As adults we may have had physical injuries, accidents, operations, demanding wor

k environments or a combination of any of these resulting at the time or eventually as pain or in one or more parts of our body. The natural aging process may also be at work as a contributary factor. Adults benefit enormously from osteopathic intervention from identifying the cause, diagnosis, treatment to advice and management. Structural Osteopathy
Effective treatment of Musculo-skeletal injuries and resulting pain by articulating, mobilising and manipulating joints both spinal and peripheral as well as working on muscles, tendons and ligaments using stretch and massage techniques. Changing and Improving the way the body is structured improves the way the body functions. Osteopathy for Babies and Children
It is a common belief that babies and children have no stresses and strains in their bodies. The reality is very different. During birth the body is subjected to enormous forces and some babies cope very well but for others its a different story with resultant tensions and stresses remaing in the body. This can lead to discomfort and related symptoms such as excessive crying, irritability, poor sleeping, poor feeding.

Our Health Coach Sarah is here to help you make make positive changes to improve your overall health and wellbeing- to find that all important balance.

A recent client has said "Sarah has been extremely helpful in focusing me on my health goals and together we have developed a manageable plan to help achieve them. During our first meeting I was immediately put at ease and she took an extremely comprehensive history. I felt like it was the first time anyone had really listened to everything that was going on for me and this in itself was quite therapeutic! During our next session Sarah showed that she had really understood my concerns and had come up with some great suggestions of things I could easily change. Despite thinking I knew a lot about healthy eating already, Sarah has educated me on many new things. Her passion is obvious and she has given me so much support and inspiration so far. I am looking forward to continuing my health journey with her support and guidance."

If this is something you would like to explore for yourself, then please get in touch with our friendly team - call, email or message us here.

"Having recently been diagnosed with a slipped disc I can't praise the acupuncturer Jan enough. She put me at ease, talked me through the process. Jan was so easy to talk to. From walking into the centre with a walking stick to going in after 3 visit without the aid of my stick, my pain had gone. The receptionist remembered my name on my second visit please give Meadows a try you won't be disappointed."

Many people come to acupuncture for help with specific symptoms or to relieve specific pains. Some use acupuncture because they feel generally unwell but have no obvious diagnosis. Others choose acupuncture simply to enhance their feeling of wellbeing.

Acupuncture is considered suitable for all ages and can be used effectively alongside conventional medicine.

There are 2 acupuncturists at Meadows Wellbeing - Sylvia and Jan. If you'd like to book an appointment or to find out more please click here:

Meadows Wellbeing Osteopath, Carol Maria, may also use a technique called Bowen Therapy during her sessions, depending on the needs of her clients.

Also called the Bowen Fascia Release Technique, Bowen Therapy is a form of remedial bodywork that involves gently stretching the fascia (the soft tissue that covers all your muscles and organs) to promote pain relief, create relaxation and improve motor function to balance the body.
