🎀 Wear It Pink at Hampton Court Care Home 🎀

Yesterday, our residents and team joined together in support of Breast Cancer Awareness by holding a Wear It Pink Day and Bake Sale – and we’re thrilled to share that we raised £100 for Breast Cancer Now charity who change the lives of people affected by breast cancer by combining the power of world-class research and life-changing support💗🧁

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated, and joined in the fun — every slice of cake and splash of pink helped make a difference.

🌴☀️ Tropical Vibes at Hampton Court Care Home! ☀️🌴

Last week, we turned up the heat and brought the sunshine indoors and outdoors with our Tropical Themed Day – and what a day it was! 🏝️🍹

Our wonderful staff embraced the summer spirit, donning their brightest tropical shirts, leis, and beach-ready attire – spreading smiles and sunshine all around! 😎🌺

To top off the day, we were treated to a fantastic live steelpan performance by the incredible Mighty Jamma 🎶🥁 His vibrant music had everyone swaying, clapping, and dancing along – bringing the Caribbean right to our doorstep! 🇯🇲🎵

Thank you to everyone who made the day so memorable. It was a true celebration of joy, colour, and community! 💛

🛍️ Out and About with Margaret! 💕

This week, our lovely resident Margaret enjoyed a special outing to Matalan with her daughter – a wonderful bit of retail therapy and quality time together! 👗🥿🛒

It’s always heartwarming to see our residents spending time with family and enjoying the little things – like browsing the rails, choosing something new, and sharing a laugh or two along the way.

🐾🐐🐣 **Animal Magic at Hampton Court!** 🐣🐐🐾

We had the most wonderful animal-themed day yesterday at Hampton Court Care Home, made even more special by a heart warming intergenerational visit from the Year 3 children at Stow Heath Primary School💛

In the afternoon, we were thrilled to welcome The Farm on Wheels, who brought along a delightful bunch of furry and fluffy friends – including chicks, bunnies, goats, guinea pigs, and lambs!🐰🐥🐑 Residents and children alike loved the chance to feed, cuddle and learn about the animals in a truly joyful experience.

Adding to the fun, our amazing team got fully into the spirit, with staff dressing up as a giant inflatable dinosaur and zebra – much to everyone’s delight! 🦖🦓 And of course, our very own mascot Alfie Dog couldn’t miss out on the action 🐶

A huge thank you to everyone who made the day so special – the children, the animals, our team and the wider community. It's days like these that create memories to treasure 🧡

🇬🇧 What a wonderful start to our VE Day celebrations yesterday at Hampton Court!🇬🇧

We kicked things off in true 1940s style with a fabulous performance from the incredibly talented Pippa Langhorne, who filled the home with wartime classics and plenty of smiles 🎶✨

Residents enjoyed a traditional Fish & Chip lunch, shared their own touching wartime memories, and got into the spirit of the day with music, laughter and celebration. Our staff looked fantastic dressed in **red, white and blue**, vintage outfits and military uniforms – helping to make the day even more special.

This year marks 80 years since VE Day, and we’re proud to honour the occasion full of nostalgic activities, remembrance and joy. ❤️🤍💙

Happy St George’s Day from all of us at Hampton Court Care Home!

Today we celebrated England’s patron saint in true British style – with plenty of flags, fun, and fabulous entertainment! A huge thank you to the amazing Mikkaila, whose beautiful voice filled the home with classic tunes and patriotic favourites. Our residents sang along, waved their flags, and even had a little dance – it was a joy to see so many smiles.

Thank you, Mikkaila, for making today extra special – we’re so lucky to have you share your talent with us!

📣 **Burns Night Celebrations at Hampton Court**

What an incredible afternoon we had yesterday at Hampton Court Care Home, celebrating Burns Night in true Scottish style! 🎉🎵

Our residents and staff were treated to the stirring sounds of a live bagpiper, creating a truly magical atmosphere. 🪗✨ The tartan outfits, Scottish-themed decor, and the energy in the room made it a celebration to remember!

A big thank you to everyone who joined in the festivities and helped us honor the legacy of Robert Burns. ❤️🏴

🎄 A Wonderful Week of Christmas Celebrations at Hampton Court! 🎅

This week has been filled with festive cheer here at Hampton Court Care Home! From the Alzheimer’s Society Dress Like an Elf Day to our lively Residents’ Christmas Party, the Christmas spirit has truly been in the air. 🧝‍♀️✨

A huge thank you to the incredible Richie Vee, whose fantastic entertainment made our Christmas party so special. 🎤🎶
