This September we're shining a spotlight on bladder leakage. It's a condition that affects millions of people in the UK and can have a profound impact on their quality of life.
From and urge , to stress incontinence, mixed incontinence, overflow incontinence and many more; there are lots of people who experience bladder leakage. It can be for many reasons. Some females may experience bladder leakage during or after child birth. Some people who have been treated for urology cancers including bladder cancer or prostate cancer may experience bladder leakage. For some people experiencing urinary tract infections, bladder leakage may occur.

Please note that the surgery will be closed today between 1pm and 3pm for staff training.Thanks

Flu Vaccinations 2025

We are now booking patients in for their Annual Flu Vaccine!
Our first clinic starts Friday, 3rd October 2025.

Ways to book:
✅ Use the booking link we’ll send out directly
✅ Or use the NHS app

If you can’t use the NHS app or the link, please give us a call in the afternoon.

If you are eligible for the COVID vaccine, we can give it at the same time as your flu jab — unless you prefer them separately.

COVID vaccine eligibility (Autumn 2025):
- All adults aged 75+
- Residents in a care home for older adults
- Adults 18+ who are immunosuppressed (as per Spring 2025 guidance)
- Other groups — including carers and health & social care workers — are not eligible for the COVID vaccine this season.

September is Urology Awareness Month.

Did you know that 1 in 5 people in the UK are impacted by bladder problems. 1 in 3 women are living with bladder leakage. With an ageing population, we expect this figure to continue to rise in the coming decade.

From overactive bladder and urge incontinence, to stress incontinence, mixed incontinence, overflow incontinence and many more; there are lots of people who experience bladder leakage. It can be for many reasons. Some females may experience bladder leakage during menopause or after child birth. Some people who have been treated for urology cancers including bladder cancer or prostate cancer may experience bladder leakage. For some people experiencing urinary tract infections, bladder leakage may occur. Lots of people in the UK need to use continence products including catheters and urostomy bags and may deal with leakage issues.

Bladder leakage can impact all aspects of a person’s life.

💉The NHS in Lincolnshire is urging eligible people to have the RSV and PPV vaccinations, to maxmise protection from respiratory viruses.
❄️Getting vaccinated will help protect you and others this winter, particularly if you have a respiratory diagnosis such as COPD.
👩‍🦳People aged 65 and over can have the PPV vaccination, usually 1 dose when you’re 65. People aged 75 to 79 can have the RSV vaccination (if you turned 80 after 1st September 2024, you’re eligible for the RSV vaccine until 31st August 2025. You’re not eligible for the RSV vaccine if you turned 80 on or before 1st September 2024).
