Before we were taught what was “right” or “wrong,” ✅❌ before we were corrected, ✔️ compared 🧐 or conditioned, 🧠✅ we expressed 🧡🎨✨🫶
Before children speak 🗣️ they sing, 🎶 before they write ✍️ they paint 🎨 as soon as they stand 🧍♀️they dance 💃
No fear, ❌😨 no judgement ❌👩⚖️ and no overthinking, ❌🤯 just pure, raw, beautiful expression of the soul 🌈✨
Because art 🖼️ in all its forms 🎤 isn’t something we learn, ❌📚 it’s something we are 🧘♀️💫💯
It’s the language of emotion, 💬🌊 the release of energy 🙌🏻⚡️and the way the soul speaks when words aren’t enough ✨💜🗣️
But somewhere along the way we’re told to sit still, 🪑🤫 to colour inside the lines, 🖍️ to be “realistic” instead of imaginative, ❌💭 to quiet down, 🤐 tone it down 🙅♀️ and to fit in 📦
And slowly ⌚️ that natural expression starts to fade, 🥀 not because it’s gone ❌ but because it’s been suppressed 🚫
Yet the truth is 💯
✨ That creative spark never leaves you
✨ That expressive energy is still within you
✨ That part of you that wants to sing, paint and dance is still alive
It’s just waiting for permission to come back out ✅✨🙌🏻
Because art isn’t just about talent, ❌ it’s about feeling, ⚡️it’s about letting yourself be seen 👀 even if it’s messy. 🌪️ It’s about moving energy through your body instead of holding it in, ⚡️🧘♀️🌊 and it’s about reconnecting to the part of you that existed before the world told you who to be 💞🧘♀️👁️💜❌🌍
You don’t need to be perfect, ❌ you don’t need to be professional ❌ and you don’t need anyone else’s approval, ❌ you just need to express 🎨✨
Sing badly, 🎶😂 dance freely, 💃 draw something that makes no sense 🖍️ and write what’s in your heart ✍️
Because when you do that ✅ you’re not just “being creative,” 🚫 you’re coming home to yourself 🧘♀️🏡💫
So if life has felt heavy lately, 🏋🏼♀️ if your mind has been loud 💥 and if your emotions feel stuck, ❌ try expressing instead of suppressing 🌬️✨
