A recently completed Memorial, in beautiful Yorkshire Stone, shaped in a natural boulder style to reflect a simple and timeless tribute, Roman classic lettering, finished in black paint for a clean, lasting contrast against the warm tones of the stone. Yorkshire stone weathers naturally over time, allowing the memorial to settle gently into its surroundings while remaining a strong and enduring tribute.

This is a photo of a newly installed headstone we have just created and installed.

The memorial is a striking, full kerb set in polished blue pearl granite, finished with contrasting white chippings and a flowing centre panel that adds softness and movement to the design. The headstone itself is beautifully shaped into a double-heart silhouette, symbolising everlasting love.

At the centre of the heart is a detailed etched angel, delicately engraved with flowing wings that frame the stone. Above, the inscription is deeply carved and painted for clarity, with a ceramic photo set into the headstone to create a truly personal tribute.

The grave space is finished with matching granite kerbs, a curved step detail at the foot, integrated flower holders, and thoughtful ornamental pieces placed along the centre panel. The contrast between the polished granite and the white stones gives the memorial a clean, elegant, and timeless appearance.

Overall, this piece is a bespoke, contemporary memorial that combines traditional craftsmanship with meaningful symbolism, creating a lasting tribute to a much-loved daughter.

This memorial is a polished black granite headstone with a highly personal, custom design.

At the top, there is a beautifully painted scene showing an elderly woman feeding a white dog beside a canal. The setting includes a narrowboat, trees, flowers, and a countryside path—suggesting a peaceful, rural landscape. The artwork feels warm and affectionate, clearly reflecting the woman’s love of dogs and nature.

Beneath the painting, the inscription reads:

“Skipton’s Dog Treat Lady, With A Heart Full Of Love”

Additional wording describes her as being kind to every dog and having a kind soul to all.

At the base of the headstone, there is a carved black dog sculpture sitting upright, integrated into the design. There are also circular flower holders set into the base for memorial vases.

Overall, it’s a striking and heartfelt tribute that celebrates her identity, her compassion, and especially her love for dogs.

Here we have done an additional inscription and done a professional clean using a chemical free system.
If you are having a memorial cleaned ask what process and cleaning products are being used, certain products can be bad on carrera white marble.
