Helen and I had the best day (slightly hot, but not complaining!) 57km on the beautiful Leeds Liverpool Canal. Meeting lovely friends on the way and generous donations from kind strangers 🙏

Thank you to for being our snack carrier, to for our cuppas and big up to for our scrummy pack ups and amazing cakes and smiles. That Malteser Rocky Road was amazing 🤩

It was part of my training for our Alan's 57 canal walk, but to be fair I don't really need an excuse to go there 🤩😁

On Saturday 25th April Helen and I are taking on a challenge to walk 57km (35.5miles in old money!) of the Leeds Liverpool Canal from Leeds Dock to Bank Newton Locks.

This is a fundraiser for 's57 which was created in memory of Helen's brother Alan, who took his own life in Spring 2025.

This event will be raising money to support

You can support us with a donation and by entering the competition we are running...😁

Can you guess the combined total number of steps we will take on our 57km walking Challenge?

To enter, it’s a minimum of £2 per guess, paying via the QR Code. Then pm me, Your Name and number of steps guessed.
The person whose guess is the closest to the number of steps taken wins a £50 gift voucher for Bettys 😁 (This can be used in the Cafe, Shop or Online)

All made the more enjoyable thanks to the MOST amazing chocolate brownie 😋 I was so cheery walking back after that massive chocolate hit, I was chatting to anyone who'd listen,and even those that wouldn't 🤣🤣
