Come and join Emily from The Secret Garden Cosmetics and me for a fun and informative workshop where you'll learn all about the power of local plants and herbs!
Our workshop will take place at Bracken Hall Countryside Centre and Museum, a beautiful location on Shipley Glen, perfect for connecting with nature.
We will start with a plant ID session in the garden, which has a beehive and all kinds of gorgeous plants and herbs, plus an ancient apple tree!
We will then be making herbal oils, personalised teas (includes a complementary strainer) and some beauty and wellbeing products (lip balm and face mask) which you can take home and chill out with!
Our workshop is suitable for people with no prior knowledge of herbal medicine, formulation or aromatherapy, and those who have some experience of making products.
All equipment, ingredients, packaging and a goodie bag to take home are included in the ticket price.
Tea, coffee and herbal drinks are included in the ticket price — please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
We ask that you complete a consent form on the day. If you have any allergies or specific medical issues that we would need to be aware of for health and safety reasons in relation to the safe use of essential oils, please let us know before the session. Please also let us know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This information will be kept confidential in line with our data protection policy.
Sessions will generally be 8 -10 people unless otherwise stated.
