As I drove home afterwards, I noticed a field of flowers, dotted with sunflowers and took this photo.

👶 Not only are my children welcome- but so are yours too!

💙💙💙 I am a with a background in counselling, children & young people and I am also a Mum of 3.

🎤 I am comfortable leading funeral services with little ones in the room.

🖍 I can bring specific things for them, include them and reference them.

🗣 Their sound reflects legacy in the room, and so don’t feel you need to keep them quiet or outside!

🧸 At Crematoriums a special teddy is often gifted to a little one. Their staff Memoria Faversham & Mid Kent Memorial Park & Crematorium are warm and welcoming…. especially Harry Hughes!

💝 A kind knock on my door (which I answered with wet hair & a little one 😂)…

(After officiating a funeral service I don’t expect a “thank you”, or even my favourite white chocolates after supporting a family through- and so acts of kindness like this are incredibly humbling and precious.)

“Although a sad day, you made it very special for us celebrating his life the way you did…”

I love my work. It truly is an honour and privilege.
