So events like the East Kent Sands “Winter Lights” really means a lot, and means so much more when the services are run as beautiful and as meaningful as you made it to be.

I met with a bereaved mother today who wanted to personally hand me a thank you card. 💝🍫

🕯👣 What an honour to read out the names of these precious babies…

and support East Kent Sands Befrienders with their “Winter Lights” memorial service. Facilitating a space for bereaved families to come together.

Thank you also to Julie who played the cello, to the volunteers at Birchington Baptist church and who did the set up, take down, serving refreshments and supporting the siblings.

👣 Every 1st Tuesday of the month, 10-11:30am at St Lawrence In Thanet Church a bereavement group called “footprints” happens.

🕯Photos were shown, names spoken, poems and words were shared and candles were lit at Memoria Faversham & Mid Kent Memorial Park & Crematorium tonight….

It was poignant that their staff were all involved & empathised within their own grief too - and also Harry Hughes sung a solo!!

I placed my angel decoration upon the tree in memory of my Grandma, and a special family I’d supported this year within their venue.
