Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Jeannette Broadbent today, the service is at Rose Hill Crematorium at 12noon, and then to Harworth Comrades Sofial Club from approximately 1:30pm.

In Loving Memory of Pamela Margaret Tower, lovingly known as Pam.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Pamela Margaret Tower, ‘Pam’, who left us unexpectedly on 21st September 2025.

Pam will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Liz and Ruth, her grandchildren, Clara and Magnus, her wider family, and her many dear friends. She lived a full and accomplished life, and her warmth, creativity, and kindness touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A funeral service to celebrate Pam’s life will be held at Barnby Moor Crematorium, Diggles Lodge, Ranby, Retford, DN22 8FL, on Tuesday, 14th October at 11:00 a.m. All who knew and loved Pam are warmly invited to attend and asked, if able, to wear florals and bright colours in her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either of the following two charities, both causes close to Pam’s heart. Any donations collected on the funeral day will be split equally between the two.

Following the service, the family invites everyone to join them at Styrrup Hall Golf & Country Club, Styrrup Road, Doncaster, DN11 8NB, to continue celebrating Pam’s life, share treasured memories, and raise a glass in her honour.
Pam will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.

Casual Pall Bearing Positions
We are in search for dedicated Pall Bearers/Drivers to join our team on a casual basis. You would be contacted in advance (as a funeral is confirmed) so you would have approximately one/two weeks notice.
This is mainly weekday work and you would be paid per funeral.
Duties include; cleaning vehicles to exceptionally high standards, driving ceremonial vehicles, assisting and taking instructions from the Funeral Director/conductor, assisting and supporting families.
The role demands high standards and attention to detail, a kind and compassionate personality is required. Relative fitness to enable the lifting and carrying of a coffin is required, previous experience is favourable though not a necessity.

It is with deep sadness that the family of Jeannette Broadbent announce her passing on 1st September 2025, at the age of 67 years. She leaves us with cherished memories and will be dearly missed.
Jeannette will be lovingly remembered by her loving family, as well as her many friends whose lives she touched with kindness and warmth.
A funeral service to celebrate Jeannette’s life will be held at Rose Hill Crematorium, Doncaster on Friday, 3rd October at 12:00pm. All who knew her are warmly invited to attend, flowers are welcome.
Following the service, the family are holding a celebration of Jeannette’s life at Harworth Comrades Social Club, 43 Scrooby Road, Harworth, DN11 8JN from 1:30pm. All are welcome to come and share
treasured memories and to raise a glass in honour of Jeannette.
