HIV diagnoses among GBMSM in England rose by 7% between 2022 and 2023 — but the biggest increase was among GBMSM of Black African ethnicity.

💊 PrEP works — but it’s not reaching everyone equally.

PrEP need is highest among GBMSM (70%)

But GBMSM of Black ethnicity are least likely to have that need identified — and least likely to start or continue PrEP.

🚨 That has to change.

🚨A new entrance is now open for patients walking into the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre at Arrowe Park Hospital.🚨

The new entrance is through the former Physiotherapy reception, around the corner from the Eye Clinic to the left of the hospital site. Signs will guide you to the right place.

🚗If you’re arriving by car, please use Patient Car Park A (opposite the Eye Clinic).

The entrance has been moved while work is underway to create a new urgent and emergency care facility at the hospital.
