Crisis situations in health and social rarely come with a warning. That's why we've launched our Rapid Response Team - a dedicated nurse-led service designed to provide immediate, stabilising care within 2-4 hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We can support with a wide range of conditions including mental health, neurodivergent conditions (including autism and ADHD) and learning disabilities - across all age groups.

The RRT reflects our commitment to delivering flexible, responsive and person-centred care, even in the most complex and time-critical situations.

🧡 A positive step forward for Alzheimer's & dementia care 🧡

This BBC article highlights a major breakthrough - a new finger-prick blood test that could support earlier diagnosis of Alzheimer's - helping people and families access the right support sooner. This is a huge step in the right direction!

At Alcedo Care, we already support people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia with compassionate, person-centred care that focuses on dignity, safety and quality of life - from the earliest stages through to more complex needs.

Earlier diagnosis means earlier understanding, planning and support - and that can make a real difference.

An international trial involving 1,000 volunteers will aim to detect biomarkers associated with the condition.
