🦁🐯🐻🦒 Alfie, Kerry and Tony from Parkside enjoyed a fantastic day out at Yorkshire Wildlife Park with staff Sarah, Dan and Beth.

After a long bus journey, it was all worth it! The group loved seeing lions, tigers, polar bears, giraffes, and more — with each person finding their own highlight:
✨ Alfie loved the playful sea lions
✨ Tony enjoyed his ice cream treat
✨ Kerry was delighted by the giraffes

They finished the day with a gift shop visit and plenty of smiles. Most importantly, they made special memories to cherish and enjoyed the wellbeing benefits of spending time together in nature. 💙

Charlie from Newbold Road has been busy building confidence and independence 🌟.
From sensory activities and football in the garden to shopping trips into town, he’s enjoying a wide variety of experiences.

A huge achievement has been walking longer distances instead of using his wheelchair every time. This is improving his health, coordination, and mental wellbeing 💪🧠.

What a day to remember! We recently brought together around 70 people for an incredible festival celebration — and the atmosphere was full of laughter, colour, and joy from start to finish! 💃🕺

🎁 A raffle with fantastic prizes
🍰 A cake sale that satisfied every sweet tooth

Margaret from Celtic Dawn Care Home has always dreamed of meeting her favourite band, Steps — and thanks to a little bit of magic, we made it happen!

When we heard that H from Steps was in town, we knew we had to make her bucket list wish come true.

The moment Margaret found out she was going to meet him, tears of joy streamed down her face. 💖

🌿✨ Today at Heath Lodge… ✨🌿

Our Annual Summer Garden Party is in full swing, and it’s shaping up to be one of our best yet! 🎉 With games, karaoke, a sizzling BBQ, and plenty of laughter, it’s been a joy to open our gates and share the afternoon with our wonderful community.

But this year’s party holds a special meaning 💛. We’re raising funds for a local men’s su***de awareness group in Warrington—a cause very close to our hearts. Supporting individuals with mental health challenges is at the core of what we do, and shining a light on men’s mental health feels more important now than ever.

To continue our support, the Heath Lodge team (along with some of the amazing people we support) will also be taking part in a 5K Su***de Prevention Awareness Walk on 6th September. We couldn’t be prouder of everyone stepping up to raise awareness and funds for such a vital cause.

🌞🚌 Roman Park’s Summer Trip to Blackpool! 🚌🌞

Back in June, during their weekly house meetings, the people we support at Roman Park shared ideas for summer outings — and a trip to Blackpool was a clear favourite! With help from staff and Manager Dita, plans were made, transport was arranged, and excitement started building. 🎉

On the big day last Wednesday, everyone woke up bright and early to catch the coach and head off for an unforgettable day by the sea. Some enjoyed thrilling rides along the seafront, others took in the views from the big wheel, and everyone had fun shopping for souvenirs and strolling along the beach. 🏖️🎡🛍️

And of course, no trip to Blackpool is complete without the iconic fish & chips — everyone made sure to enjoy this delicious treat right on the seafront! 🍟🐟

The trip was such a success, it’s already been decided that coach trips will be a regular part of future plans. Here’s to many more adventures ahead! 🎉✨

🛍️✨ Shopping Trip Fun at Larwood! ✨🛍️

Pam and Sarah spent a wonderful morning out and about, picking new décor and treats for their home — because everyone at Larwood agreed, it was time for a fresh new look! 🎉🏡

They explored different shops, trying out options and making choices that felt right for them. After shopping, Pam confidently ordered her own lunch with a little support, while Sarah enjoyed picking out new clothes and toys. Pam also had fun loading everything into the car! 🚗💪

At Larwood, involving everyone in decisions is important — it boosts confidence and promotes independence, making sure every voice is heard. 💙

⚽️🍦 Cheering on the Lionesses at Chester Road! 🍦⚽️

We had a fantastic evening supporting the England women’s football team during the semi-finals! 🎉 Staff and the people we support came together to enjoy a tasty takeaway and some delicious ice cream while cheering on the Lionesses with lots of enthusiasm. 🦁💙

Moments like these bring us closer as a community and create wonderful memories to share.
