Reciprocal Inhibition -----> that is the fancy term used to describe why the front of your hip is such a JERK!!!

When muscles become tight, they also become OVERACTIVE. When they are overactive they become THIEVES. They steal the message that gets sent from your brain to the muscle that directly opposes them.

This means that if you DO a lot of:

- sitting
- squatting
- running
- cycling

That the tightness you get in the front of your hip can be preventing the BACK OF YOUR HIP from working appropriately.
