Mental Health Awareness Week 🤝

On Friday evening I had the honour of speaking to a room full of people at Claremont Farm for The Wirral Bake Off to share my story and how becoming the founder of Noubalm and NouYou CIC & Wellbeing has completely transformed my life.

For anyone who knows me knows public speaking has always been on my no go list‼️ There was a time I was unable to introduce myself to 5/6 people.

Martin Bone, Do you remember the major panic attack when all you simply asked was to introduce my self 🥱

Noubalm is a wellness & self care brand that strives to elevate people’s lives through a range of holistic healing services and hand made natural products that I manufacture by hand.

Noubalm was born when I hit an ultimate low and become extremely ill with mental health illness. I had suffered from the early years of my life but back then the word mental health did not exist.

Many years passed and I started to feel like this was just the normal way to feel until the day I collapsed in Spire Hospital where I was told there was nothing wrong with me. I had completely lost consciousness and my body was starting to shut down.

After endless tests, it was at that moment that reality hit that no one was going to know what was wrong with me. Only I knew what was wrong with me and in reality no one ever knows what another person is feeling or going through.

I had been suffering in silence my whole life. I had been hiding my feelings, pain, trauma, chronic anxiety, and most of all daily panic attacks.

I had a deep knowing that no one can save me, so I am going to help myself and my self healing journey began.

I was on a mission - I stopped drinking alcohol, started growing organic food in my garden, changed my diet, binned every chemical I owned in my home, quit taking endless supplies from the doctor, because if there was nothing wrong with me, why was he supplying an endless supply of medication that my body was clearly rejecting at the time and making me sick.

It has been a long road to recovery and not an easy one,but I have not been back to the doctor or took any medication for over 13 years.

Noubalm products really are my medicine, they heal you within whilst you glow to go ...alongside a clean healthy food plan, a clear and focused mind and active lifestyle, this is all all the medicine I need. ♥️
