If your child has a lolly in their treat bag make sure they sit up when eating it and are not running around. 🍭
I will do a live choking demo over the weekend for anyone who is unsure on what to do if their child chokes.

When you’re stocking up on treats this Halloween please remember that some sweets can be dangerous for little ones.

Lollipops, hard sweets and mini eggs in particular can pose a serious choking risk. They’re the perfect size to completely block a child’s airway. So please pick another treat.

We had a brilliant afternoon at our first teenager first aid course. The children all worked really hard to understand how to deal with an emergency. They now know how to use an EpiPen, deal with wounds, how to use a sling, do cpr, know how to help someone who is choking, how to understand if someone is in shock and how to put someone in recovery position! Phew what an action packed time we had .
