Each and every member of our team is trained to the highest level and we support the attainment of relevant professional qualifications at all levels. When called upon to undertake a funeral it is our policy at Charles Stephens, to take complete responsibility for all the details involved. We are able to pre-arrange funerals and take your instructions now and hold them until such a time as they are needed. This saves any difficult discussions within the family and gives you peace of mind knowing everything will take place in accordance with your wishes.

We are looking for a Funeral Arranger for our Greasby branch. Previous experience in the funeral industry is preferred, but not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate who is committed to joining this rewarding profession.

In the quiet moments after losing someone we love, many of us find ourselves searching for comfort. Sometimes that comfort can come in the form of signs, a robin appearing or something small that feels like more than a coincidence.

Many of us feel that seeing a robin after losing a loved one is a quiet sign that they are still near. These little birds often show up at the right moment, when we need that little reminder or reassurance.

It's not just robins either, some take comfort in hearing that certain song on the radio or a white feather on the path.

These small moments can bring a surprising sense of peace at times when we need it most. 🫶

Did you know you can make an in memory donation on our website?

If we have been given permission by the family, you will be able to search the name of a loved one on our website and find a tribute page in their memory. As well as making a donation, you can share memories and photos on there too.

We understand many people no longer carry cash with them or even have a cheque book these days so this is an easier way to make a donation through our tribute pages.

Something different 🌺

We were privileged to help a family say goodbye to a much loved gardener. Instead of a traditional floral arrangement, Pauline and the team at Bromborough Flowers helped create a bespoke tribute that included removable plants - allowing the family to take them out and plant them in their garden after the service.

It's often the small and personal touches that bring the most comfort and we are here to make every farewell as meaningful and unique as the life it honours.
