This result was achieved with 6 sessions of SkinPen microneedling. This client originally attended another practitioner and was told that she could have filler placed into the scar to improve the appearance 🛑 thank goodness she didn’t as this region of the face is an extremely dangerous place to place dermal filler 🙈
We have since followed up on this treatment with Polynucleotides, which can also be used to treat scarring and is safe to use anywhere on the face or body. We’ll post these results in the future.

As I have gone through my weight loss journey I’m thinking more and more about what I’m putting into my body, the clinic is also taking a shift toward not just looking healthy on the outside but being healthy on the inside too.

Summer Bruschetta Recipe

2 slices sourdough bread 🍞 lightly toasted - sourdough has many health benefits, one of them being that it has a lower glycemic index meaning it cause less of a peak in blood sugars than other breads. Helping to keep blood sugars within a healthy range.

1 garlic clove 🧄 rubbed over the toasted bread. Garlic has a multitude of health benefits, helping to boost immunity, it’s also a great antioxidant.

1/2 Avocado 🥑 mashed onto sourdough. Avocados are a key source of nutrients including healthy fats and fibre.

100g full fat mozzarella sliced 🧀 has a high protein content and also contains zinc and Vitamin A which help to keep skin healthy.

Extra virgin olive oil 🫒 drizzle over the sliced mozzarella. Extra virgin olive oil can help to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress. It’s a great source of Vitamin E and antioxidants. Some studies have even pointed towards its consumption reducing the risk of Alzheimer’s.

Top with sliced cherry tomatoes 🍅 and a sprinkle of sea salt. Cherry tomatoes are rich in antioxidants which may help protect against cancer, heart disease and skin damage 🙌

Garnish with basil, 🌿 while it may not contribute significantly to nutrition and vitamins, it’s a tasty aromatic addition to top off your Summer Bruschetta.

Served with a side of Chris’s delicious leftover butter bean salad 🥗
