I’m an integrated therapist.

Therapy isn’t something I do, it’s something I truly believe in. It’s not always easy and it’s not for everyone.

Abandonment and trauma can leave deep emotional imprints, affecting self-worth, relationships, and a sense of safety in the world. These experiences may show up as anxiety, low mood, people-pleasing, or difficulties trusting others. As a qualified counsellor trained in CBT and Person-Centred therapy, I offer a supportive space to explore these patterns with compassion and understanding. Shame vs. Guilt: Understanding the Difference
Guilt says, “I did something wrong.”
It’s a response to a specific action or choice. Guilt can be healthy it helps us reflect, take responsibility, and make repairs. It focuses on behavior: What I did.
Shame says, “There is something wrong with me.”
Instead of pointing to an action, shame targets the entire self. It often leads to hiding, withdrawal, or feeling fundamentally unworthy. Shame makes growth harder because it attacks who we are rather than what we’ve done.
In short:
Guilt can guide positive change.
Shame can block connection, compassion, and healing.
Understanding the difference helps us respond to ourselves and each other with more clarity, forgiveness, and humanity.
As a qualified counsellor in person centred and CBT. You’ll have a safe and confidential space to let it all out and start to feel like you again.
