HEALED MICROBLADING - AFTER ONE SESSION
This is a fully healed result following the initial microblading treatment, before the top-up.
My client previously had ombré brows done elsewhere, which faded quite quickly. She wanted a softer, more natural result with realistic hair strokes that blend seamlessly into her own brows.
HOW MICROBLADING HEALS
Microblading heals in layers. Not every stroke will heal at the same intensity, and that is completely normal.
As the skin repairs:
• Pigment softens
• Colour settles into the skin
• Some areas retain pigment better than others
• Previous work underneath can influence the healed result
This is why brows should never be judged too early in the healing process.
THE REAL PURPOSE OF A TOP-UP
A top-up is not about making the brows darker or heavier. It’s about refinement.
At the top-up appointment I carefully:
– Reinforce strokes that have healed lighter
– Adjust colour only where needed
– Maintain spacing to prevent blurring over time
– Balance healed pigment with fresh strokes
Immediately after a top-up, some areas may appear darker and the surrounding skin can look slightly paler. This is due to fresh pigment and mild inflammation. Once healed, the skin tone evens out and everything blends naturally.
WHY MY RESULTS HEAL SO NATURAL
My approach is always precision over saturation.
I work:
– At a controlled depth
– With minimal trauma to the skin
– Building colour gradually
– Leaving space between strokes for longevity
This prevents blurred strokes, blocky brows and premature colour migration.
The goal is natural, wearable brows that age well, not brows that look overdone.
Healed results always tell the real story
