20th is a very mixed day with a very helpful connection between the Sun and Neptune but also a very challenging one between Mars and Saturn. Ultimately, this will show us the contrasting energies of Neptune and Saturn, of idealism versus reality, of the spiritual versus mundane, of the higher will versus our everyday, human nature. With Mars involved, we have to be aware of the potential for anger building from frustration, of wanting to do battle or of feeling physically low or drained. Mars’ current home is Virgo, and this is a detail-oriented sign ruled by Mercury, the planet of the mind and communication and therefore worry and criticism can be present. Virgo can be service-oriented, whilst Saturn’s opposite sign of Pisces (Neptune’s ruler) is encouraging us to be of higher, service.

Another way this could materialise is through a feeling of overwhelm from feeling we have too much to do/too little time to do it/too little energy etc.etc. It will be easy to feel fed up and end up not getting much done. This is not a quick-moving or fast energy, so setting small, achievable targets and doing little by little will help us to feel we are achieving something ‘worthwhile’.

The key here is to remember the helpful connection and to tap into Neptune’s higher nature, to rise out of mundane pettiness and to see the Spiritual picture. This connection strengthens our intuition and can make connection to our guides and Higher Self easier and flow more easily.

Let criticism, anxiety, worry or anger go and connect to a higher wisdom. Releasing tension can be done physically, through movement, particularly dance, and from the mind through creative, artistic pursuits where we can lose ourselves in a positive way.

If we notice fears arising, or realise that we are afraid to do something as we don’t want to upset others, allow yourself to feel more deeply into this energy over the next few days and to play out the movie in your mind of how you would like this to be, instead. Keep it positive and make sure it is empowering and hold the thought and movie, as the energies of 22nd and 23rd will offer the opportunity to make this your reality.
