Spring Equinox blessings 🌱

Join us on Sunday as we lean into this shift in season ~ asking the question what this season,
3 months in isolation, the time and space between Spring Equinox ~ Summer Solstice, a chapter in itself, will serve in your 2026 story ?

Time to daydream and plant seeds for whatever you feel ready to cultivate this year.

A moment to celebrate new beginnings as the light returns around the Spring Equinox.
As the days slowly lengthen, you may notice subtle shifts in your energy, mood and vitality.

Join Maria & Jaz for an evening of yoga, sound healing and seasonal reflection as we welcome the qualities of spring — renewal, possibility and growth.
Together we’ll create space to acknowledge the season that has passed, gently shed what no longer feels aligned, and open to what is ready to emerge.

Through movement, breath, sound and stillness, we’ll honour this turning point in the year and set intentions for the months ahead.

- Yoga guided by Maria ~ Hatha Yoga into Yin - Movement into stillness to awaken the body after winter
- Sound held by Jaz ~ Crystal Sonic Therapy creating space to daydream, restore or ask your dreams for guidance

The peaceful yet powerful blend of Reiki, Sound & Cacao ... Join and to truly welcome 2026 during this extended workshop, Sunday 11th of January.

Every element of the afternoon is interwoven to support the shared intention of releasing stagnation, through the beautiful experience of an extended sound bath, reiki medicine and ceremonial cacao. The start of a New Year but still very much in the depths of Winter, it's not the time to set intentions, it's the time to go inwards and clear whatever your body is still holding onto that no longer serves a purpose.

Fusing together the magic of Crystal Sonic Sound Therapy guided by Jaz whilst receiving energy medicine through Reiki with Maria.
Maria and Jaz recently shared this experience on retreat this Autumn in Ibiza and said to one another that it absolutely need to be offered to our Joie community, so here you have it.

There will be Cacao served with guided journaling to confront what is still there from the past that needs to be confronted and cleared so you can clear the path for whatever lies ahead. In traditional and modern spiritual practices, ceremonial cacao is viewed as a sacred "plant medicine" or "teacher" with a gentle, feminine energy that helps shift emotional and energetic blockages.

This is intentional time and space to be held and guided, questions through journaling to spark self-enquiry and identify any thoughts, events, conversations that are still ruminating from the past and really no longer serve a purpose. The need to confront them so you can really release them from your body and heart/head. This brings space and in turn, clarity.

Wow, one full month of pop-ups.
Thank you for sharing in the practices, supporting, joining, sharing, your energy.
All of it 🙏

It has been such an incredible month - known and new faces all coming together to practice this ancient living wisdom, our yoga practice.

We had full classes last week which was just incredible - a full house and a very full heart 🤎

For us, it is now retreat season
as we head to Ibiza tomorrow to welcome 17 of you on the island!
So this brings a little bit of change and magic to the schedule with and covering whilst is away on retreat - so come and practice this week - our full schedule is linked in our biolinks.

Also noting that from November 1/11 our weekend classes change to Saturday mornings,
all with April for Hatha Yoga & Somatics, all still at the beautiful

Your yoga schedule for this week 🧘‍♂️

If you're yet to schedule some time in for yourself this week, here are your invitations & opportunities to find some intentional time this week, on the mat.

Your head will always be finding things for you to do, telling you how much more important your to-do list is or maybe you just need to sit on the sofa scrolling for that little bit longer… BUT your body, your brain, the quality of your thoughts will always tell you other wise.

Yoga is so much more than exercise, movement to move you out of your head and back into your body.

Creating space in your body that in turn, creates space in your mind.

Here's when and where you can practice this week ahead;

Tuesday evening at 18.30 and Sunday morning at 09.00am this week are with our founder, Maria

And of course, our new Thursday evening Flow class with Hannah starts this week, the 9th of October with .yoga.hannah
at the Domus Group studio space off St Pauls Square.

These classes are accessible to everyone, from complete beginners to those with an established practice, we welcome you all 🙏

THURSDAYS in the JQ are back from 9th of October ✨️🙏🧘‍♀️🤎

Join Hannah .yoga.hannah in the incredible space on Henrietta Street off Livery Street for a Flow class blending together hatha and vinyasa yoga, 18.30 - 19.30

Hannah will guide you through a monthly theme and focus, building towards a peak posture blending together Hatha and Vinyasa yoga.
Through breath and movement, you'll open your physical body and energy centres having options of each posture for you to explore and experiment with.

Allowing those of you who want to build and challenge your practice the opportunity to do so whilst also being accessible to those who are newer to yoga.
This class is accessible to everyone.
We welcome you all 🙏

📌 we will be here every fortnight alternating with another JQ venue, details coming very soon.

We cannot wait to share the venues with you where we'll be practising over autumn and winter starting on Tuesday 30th September.
