🔵 The Direct Cremation service we provide is specifically for those requiring a private cremation with no ceremony or attendance.

🔵 The Cremation would take place at a local crematorium and at a time to suit ourselves. The cremated remains of your loved one will be returned to ourselves or directly to you usually within one week of the cremation.

🔵 The arrangements of a Direct Cremation include:

• Transfer from a local address*, during office hours**
• Preparation of paperwork and liaison with the appropriate authorities
• Care of your loved one up to the day of the funeral
• A suitable cremation coffin
• Provision of necessary staff and unlike many funeral directors we will provide a hearse to take your loved one on their final journey to the crematorium in the dignified and respectful way everyone deserves.
• Crematorium charges
• Drs fees (if required) for the cremation certificates

*Within 20 running miles of our head office at Wednesbury
**9am-5pm Monday to Friday. If we attend out of office hours an addition charge is payable.

🔵 Today (21.12.24) marks 130 years since our Great~Grandfather, Sidney Webb conducted his first funeral under our company name, S.Webb & Son.

🔵 We are extremely proud of our heritage and what our family business is today, still independently owned and run by the fourth and fifth generation.

🔵 We will continue to serve our local communities and further afield for many more generations to come.
