Coffee Companions

We are delighted to let you know we have a regular Coffee
Companions session.

We would love you to be a part of this event, so please come
along for a chat & a coffee/tea; meet with your Social
Prescriber and other Solihull residents.

The event is held fortnightly on Wednesdays 11am to 1pm

** National Internet Issue 19/07/24 ** This is impacting our core Medical Management System - The practice is open but our service is severely restricted - Please bare with us while we work with other parties to restore the service.

Our phones lines are open however we can only deal with emegencies only.

Our web site is up and running and you can submit an online request. Please note this service is also restricted due to ongoing national issues.

Patient Notice - Our phone systems are currently down, this a a network problem across multiple businesses. Our phone provider are prioritising this matter and are collaborating with carrier providers to identify and resolve the issues.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and assure you that we are working diligently to resolve this as soon as possible.

Prescription Ordering via telephone

We would like to respectfully remind all of our patients that we do not accept prescription requests over the telephone, the only exception to this are patients who are registered clinically housebound and are regularly visited at home by a GP.

Please do not call reception to ask for this service as you will be refused.

You can order your repeat medication by signing up to the NHS APP - NHS App and your NHS account - NHS (www.nhs.uk) - download for free on the Apple Store or Google Play from a smartphone to order your repeat prescriptions.

You can also sign up to the Patient Access service by completing one of the following forms appropriate to age group on the Online Services page.

You can visit reception and request by completing this form: Prescription request Form 2023 (DOCX, 16KB). You can also drop the request through the letter box on the side door if we are closed.

All prescriptions are sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy via the Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) rather than you needing to collect a paper prescription from the surgery. Please see more information regarding EPS at: www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/prescriptions-and-pharmacies/electronic-prescriptions or from your local pharmacy ..e.g.

All patients having repeat prescriptions will be asked to see a doctor from time to time to check their treatment.

When ordering please remember to:

· Please provide the exact drug names wherever possible.

· Please allow 48 hours for the practice to process your prescription requests

· Please allow extra time at weekends and bank holidays.

· Specialist Drug Monitoring - Patients on specialist prescribed medication, e.g. Warfarin and Methotrexate, and who need regular monitoring will be seen by appointment for review by the doctor.

· Prescriptions can now be sent to a pharmacy of your choice via the Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS). Make our reception team or the pharmacy aware of your choice.
