🚨 Missed Appointments – February 2026

Last month at The Dove Medical Practice our team provided over 5,600 appointments for patients:

👩‍⚕️ 3,338 Face-to-Face
📞 1,738 Telephone
🏠 554 Home Visits

However, 247 appointments were not attended (DNA).

These are appointments that could have been offered to other patients who needed medical care.

If you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel it as soon as possible so we can offer the slot to someone else.

Even cancelling on the day helps us reallocate appointments and reduce waiting times for everyone.

Together we can make sure appointments are available for those who need them most.

You can request an emergency supply of your usual medication via the NHS 111 online service. It’s quick, secure, and available when you need it most. 🌐💙

There is nothing worse than hunger when you’re cold, and if you’re struggling to feed yourself or your children, a food bank can supply an emergency parcel with enough food for at least three days.
