Care Assistant – Full Time (36 Hours per Week)
📍 New Day Nursing Home
New Day Nursing Home is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team on a full-time basis (36 hours per week).
We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents in a warm and respectful environment.
Role Responsibilities:
• Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Supporting residents with mobility and daily activities
• Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Assisting with meals and hydration
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents’ health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Working collaboratively with the nursing and care team
Requirements:
• Previous care experience is preferred but not essential (full training can be provided)
• A caring, patient, and compassionate nature
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable and flexible approach to shifts
