We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter with our lovely residents!

From creative Easter bonnet making 🎩🌼 to a fun-filled Easter egg hunt 🥚🔍, the day was full of smiles and laughter. Residents also enjoyed music and dancing 🎶, bringing everyone together in joyful spirit.

Of course, no Easter celebration would be complete without delicious treats! 🍰✨ Everyone tucked into hot cross buns and beautifully made Easter cakes, shared with both residents and staff.
Moments like these remind us how special it is to create joyful experiences and lasting memories together. 💖

Care Assistant – Full Time (36 Hours per Week)

New Day Nursing Home is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team on a full-time basis (36 hours per week).

We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents in a warm and respectful environment.

Role Responsibilities:
• Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Supporting residents with mobility and daily activities
• Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Assisting with meals and hydration
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents’ health or behaviour
• Maintaining accurate care records
• Working collaboratively with the nursing and care team

Requirements:
• Previous care experience is preferred but not essential (full training can be provided)
• A caring, patient, and compassionate nature
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable and flexible approach to shifts

🍪☕ A Wonderful Day of Baking at New Day Nursing Home ☕🍪

We had such a lovely time baking biscuits at New Day Nursing Home! Our residents thoroughly enjoyed getting involved in the baking, with wonderful support from our activities coordinator and chef.

After all the hard work, we sat down together in the afternoon to indulge in the freshly baked biscuits with a comforting cup of tea or coffee. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and delicious treats to go around.

It was truly a heart-warming day enjoyed by everyone 💛
