Ahimsa. Non violence. Mind. Body. Deed. The three are so unbelievably closely connected. Maybe the early yogis were on to the original CBT: Thought > Feeling >Behaviour. Change one and you have the power to change them all. (a bit like Lord of the Rings - but cooler and with less violence!)
Anyway, notice the negative, violent, unkind thoughts towards yourself and others maybe attempt an anchor:

The Metta Bhavana from Buddism teaches us this
May I be happy
May I be kind
May I be healthy
May I be peaceful

My face last week when I realized I won't be teaching yoga for a month....
Don't worry Hatha Peeps I'll be back putting you all in a wonderful chair pose before you know it.
Get them fierce poses working as I can't wait to see you back on the mat soon!
Massive shout out to and for covering my classes for me whilst I heal and for being so supportive with me.

A gentle reminder that life goes through good and bad patches. Sometimes things will feel like a black hole is swallowing you and sometimes it will feel like you can move mountains.
The reality is you can only do the next best thing.
You can only live in the present moment
You can only listen to your heart and be your authentic self.
You must not settle for anything less than your true value
You are not the value of what others think of you..
You are not the thoughts that plague the inner workings of your mind
You are something wonderful and your value is not measured by what others think.
Show up for yourself.
Show up for the child inside you that needs love.
Know this. Anxiety, sadness, depression and self loathing will not last forever..it is an impossibity to feel these emotions forever
This too shall pass.
Stand in the storm..readjust your godamn crown and be authentically you.
And do it for yourself.
Because you are a godamned warrior
