Dawn and Cleo (Cleo is behind the camera) spent a lovely afternoon with Brenda, Kay and Jane, browsing around Notcutts Garden Centre in Shirley. Kay was amazed by everything! Brenda said she enjoyed the afternoon, as she loves gardening and it was great to see the different plants on display. Jane enjoyed being out and said she would drive next time. (erm... let's leave the driving to Dawn shall we Jane).

The gloves were on, then off, then on again as Shack from Fitnniss - Wellbeing in Care put the residents of Eastcote Park Retirement Village & Care Home through their paces during the afternoon's Exercise Class. It was a jovial session with some great music but no let up with the exercise regime. Well done everyone.

🌴✨ A Taste of Summer at Eastcote ✨🌴
Despite the rainy skies outside, our home was filled with sunshine, laughter, and joy during today’s Summer Party! ☀️🌧️💛

Residents enjoyed a day of light-hearted fun, from classic hook-a-duck games to beach ball pass, all designed to encourage movement, social connection, and a good dose of nostalgia. 🦆🏐💬

One of the highlights? Reminiscing about favourite holidays and treasured seaside memories—proven to spark happiness and stimulate wellbeing. 🧠❤️

Lunch was a real treat: a beautifully presented beach-themed fish & chips feast, crafted by our award-winning chefs. Think seaside comfort with a gourmet twist—served with a smile and enjoyed in great company. 🍽️🐟🍋

At Eastcote, we believe every day should feel special. Days like these remind us why we’re more than just a care home — we’re a community where memories are celebrated, and quality of life is cherished.

A Personal Touch for Joan & Marie!

At Eastcote Park, we believe that moving into a care home doesn’t mean leaving your identity or passions behind, it means finding new ways to keep them alive 💛

Recently, Joan and Marie enjoyed a lovely outing, starting with a relaxing Gel manicure 💅 It’s something they both enjoy, and Jo, our dedicated Lead Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator, made sure their preferences were at the heart of the day.
Afterwards, knowing how much Marie adores cats, they visited a local cat café 🐾.One of the cats reminded her of her own beloved pet, a moment that brought a big smile to her face and some very special memories to the surface 🥰

These little personal touches make all the difference, because at Eastcote Park, it’s all about what matters to each resident.

What a gorgeous morning to be taking a stroll around Eastcote Park Retirement Village & Care Home, residents were chatting away but also helping and caring for each other, lots of comments about the plants and how beautifully they are displayed.
It's lovely to see the closeness and interactions of the residents.

That’s a wrap on quiz night and what a night it was! ✨
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and community spirit, all in support of the incredible Knowle Donkey Sanctuary 🫏💛

We’re delighted to share that we’ve already raised £150 — and counting! 🙌

👏 A big congratulations to our winning team, who walked away with a fantastic prize of wine, chocolates, and a return visit to Eastcote Park Retirement Village & Care Home for afternoon tea for six people, lovingly prepared by our award-winning chefs!
