Our lovely residents had a wonderful time getting creative and making their very own Easter bonnets. Each bonnet was full of colour, personality, and festive cheer, showing off everyone’s imagination and creativity 🌸🎨

Once the bonnets were complete, the celebration really began as everyone proudly wore their creations. The home was filled with laughter, smiles, and a joyful sense of togetherness as residents shared in the fun and admired each other’s festive designs 💜✨

It was a beautiful way to celebrate Easter, combining creativity, celebration, and community spirit, and creating happy memories that everyone will remember for a long time 🐣💜

March has been a truly special month across our homes, filled with meaningful celebrations and shared experiences that have brought residents and teams together ✨

From raising awareness during Nutrition and Hydration Week to enjoying the energy and fun of St Patrick’s Day, there has been something for everyone to take part in. We also proudly celebrated International Women’s Day, recognising the inspiring women within our communities, and marked Mother’s Day with thoughtful moments of love, gratitude, and reflection 🌷 🚺 🍎 🍀

Life across our 46 homes is shaped by these moments, both big and small. They create a sense of belonging, spark conversation, and bring joy to everyday life, making each home a vibrant and supportive place to live 🏡💜

At Lucton House Care Home , our Easter celebrations were filled with laughter, teamwork, and a little bit of magic as our much loved residents took part in a joyful Easter egg hunt. On a bright and cheerful day, our team carefully hid colourful eggs throughout the home, creating a delightful trail that led all the way out into the garden, ready to be discovered 🐣🌼

With baskets in hand and smiles all around, our residents set off on their hunt, searching high and low, sharing clues, and helping one another along the way. It was truly heartwarming to see everyone come together, with staff and residents side by side, enjoying every moment and celebrating each find as the baskets slowly filled up 🧺 💟

By the end of the hunt, every single egg had been found, and the sense of achievement and joy was clear to see. To make the day even more special, each resident received a lovely goodie bag filled with chocolate treats as a sweet reward for their efforts and enthusiasm 🍫🐰

Moments like these remind us how important it is to create meaningful experiences, bring smiles to faces, and make memories together here at Lucton House 💐✨

Our wonderful residents Rupert, Patricia, and Bill had a wonderful time helping to decorate Easter cupcakes ready for our Easter party 🐣🧁

The afternoon was full of creativity and laughter as everyone used different toppings to make their cupcakes look bright, cheerful, and perfectly festive. Each cupcake became a little work of art, reflecting the personality and imagination of the residents who decorated them 🌸✨

It was such a fun and engaging activity, bringing everyone together to share smiles, creativity, and the joy of preparing for our Easter celebrations 💟

We can’t wait to enjoy these lovely treats at the party and celebrate the season together! 🎉🍫

This March, we took a moment to celebrate and show our heartfelt appreciation for the incredible dedication and hard work of our staff. Every day, their kindness, commitment, and energy make our home a place of warmth and care, and we are so grateful for everything they do 🌟

We were delighted to recognise Navneet, Melody, Michael, Hannah, Sonu, Rosemary, and Fareena with a special gift to thank them for their outstanding contributions. Each also received a Manager Appreciation Award, celebrating their exceptional commitment and the difference they make every day 🏆💟

To add a touch of festive cheer, we also shared Easter eggs with all our staff members as a small token of our gratitude and to wish them a Happy Easter. The smiles, laughter, and joy shared in this celebration reflected just how much our team means to all of us 🐰🍫

Our wonderful residents have been getting creative, making Easter bonnets ready for our upcoming Easter bonnet parade 🐣🎨

Using lots of colours, crafts and a bit of imagination, Lucia, Susan, Rupert, Sheila and Joan have all created some lovely, vibrant designs. We're so excited to see them all together on the day! 🌸

Arts and crafts are always a favourite here at Lucton House Care Home . They’re a great way for our residents to express themselves, spend time together and enjoy something a little different.

It was such a lovely afternoon full of creativity, laughter and a sprinkle of Easter spirit 💜

Our Mother’s Day party was a truly joyful occasion as our lovely residents came together to celebrate in a beautifully decorated home filled with love and warmth. The dining room looked stunning with pink roses on the tables, creating a special setting for such a meaningful day 🌹

As the celebration began, everyone enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere, sharing smiles, conversations, and precious moments together. The highlight of the day was a fantastic performance from Kerry Sings whose singing brought happiness to our residents and had the room filled with music and joy 🎶

It was a day full of laughter, connection, and celebration, making Mother’s Day one to remember for everyone in our home ✨

Our residents took a lovely trip down memory lane as we enjoyed a beach reminiscing session together in our home. Surrounded by seashells, beach themed cards, and even old arcade tickets, the room quickly filled with stories of seaside adventures and sunny days gone by 🌊

Marjorie, Sheila, Ching, and Susan shared their favourite beach memories, chatting about holidays by the sea, the sound of the waves, and how much they have always loved the summer. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged, sparking conversations and reliving special moments from years past ☀️

This meaningful activity brought a real sense of connection and joy, reminding us all of the happiness found in simple moments and cherished memories of time spent by the seaside 🐚✨

🍀🎉 What a fantastic St. Patrick’s Day celebration we had at our care home, a day full of laughter, music, and creative fun!

The morning began with everyone gathering to admire the beautifully decorated dining area, complete with festive place mats that added an extra special touch to the celebration. The excitement grew as residents joined in to decorate their own St. Patrick’s Day cupcakes, each one colorful, unique, and made with love 🧁

The highlight of the day was an unforgettable performance by the brilliant singer Sean Clifford. From the first note, the room came alive with music, smiles, and applause. Residents couldn’t resist joining in, dancing together, singing along, and sharing moments of pure joy 💃🕺🎶

It was a celebration full of fun, creativity, and togetherness, and a perfect way to honour the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. Days like this remind us just how special these shared moments of laughter and music can be ✨ 💟

☀️ A Springtime Stroll to Remember ☀️

On a bright and sunny afternoon, our lovely residents enjoyed a refreshing trip out to Rowheath Pavilion , making the most of the beautiful weather and the simple joy of being outdoors together. As we arrived, the warmth of the sun and the fresh spring air instantly lifted spirits, setting the scene for a truly lovely outing 🌿

During our gentle walk around the park, residents admired the flowers just beginning to bloom, a wonderful reminder that spring is here and full of life. Each step brought new sights and smiles, as colours started to return to the gardens and nature slowly awakened around us 🌸

We paused by the pond, taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the water ripple gently in the sunlight. It was a calm and happy moment, where conversations flowed easily and everyone could simply enjoy being present together 🦆

The whole afternoon was filled with laughter, relaxation, and a sense of wellbeing, as our residents soaked up the sunshine and each other’s company. It was a simple trip, but one that brought so much happiness and created special memories to cherish 💟

🌿🌸 Getting Our Garden Ready for the Seasons Ahead 🌸🌿

This week our lovely residents spent some lovely time in the garden beginning the exciting task of getting it ready for the upcoming seasons. Together we started by clearing the patio area, picking up old branches and sweeping away leaves so the space can be refreshed and prepared for the months ahead. Everyone enjoyed being outside, working together and seeing the garden slowly start to look ready for new life and colour💜🌿

Over recent weeks we have been talking about future planting ideas and the residents were very keen to help prepare the space themselves. Being involved in getting the garden ready made the activity even more meaningful, as everyone shared memories of gardening, discussed what flowers and plants we might grow, and looked forward to spending more time outdoors as the weather continues to improve 🌷🌱

We are all excited to continue preparing the garden and cannot wait to start planting soon. It is wonderful to see our residents so involved in creating a beautiful outdoor space that everyone in our home can enjoy together💜🌸
