The home is made up specialist houses and surrounded by mature landscaped gardens with raised flowerbeds.

🧀🍷 NATIONAL WINE & CHEESE DAY 🍷🧀

After our very busy week this week with staff appreciation and our fantastic Garden Party, we have ended the week with a wine and cheese tasting afternoon.

We went for a more relaxing setting today with the sunshine coming back ☀️.

Our residents and staff have enjoyed tasting different styled cheese's, watered down with a lovely glass of wine 🍷.

Who doesn't love a good cheese board!!

✨️ EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH ✨️

Firstly, congratulations to one our Care Assistants Navin Joy, who is a great asset to our home. He has won Employee of the Month in July👏. He is reliable, hard working and nothing is ever too much trouble. He works hard with his team to ensure our residents receive the best care!

Congratulations to Michelle Hampshire who is the winner of our most reliable employee for July 👏.

Shell, works in our Kitchen as a cook and works hard everyday to ensure our residents have wonderfully cooked meals. She works well with her team, provides support when you need it, helps out during mealtimes on the houses when required and has an all around happy personality which can be seen each day! She is so caring towards our residents and that's what we love about her! Well done Shell! 🥰

🌳 RYLAND VIEW'S GARDEN PARTY 🌳

Well what can we say, another successful event here at Ryland. Thank you to everyone who took the time out of their day to come down and spend some quality time with everyone ❤️.

Our day combined of, live music from Mel Day, stalls with lots of goodies on sale, an ice cream van, hot food and drinks, tombola and an all around celebration of our home.

Well done to all staff members who worked hard to put this day together, without you this wouldn't have been a success. Thank you to Ian from HR who kindly came down to represent Advinia and gave a lovely speech about our home and team 👏.

Our residents joined families and friends to enjoy this special event and what a day we have had! We even had a small ceremony giving out staff appreciation awards hosted by Ian and Rico our Home Manager where staff won a certificate and trophy 🏆 to promote how hard they work here at Ryland View, so well done to all winners 👏❤️

Again, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you! Without all your continued support we wouldn't have the home we have, so again thank you!

WE RAISED AN AMAZING £214 THROUGH DONATIONS!!

Team Work makes the Dream Work 😊👨‍🌾

Today at Ryland View we have been busy working together to make our home feel more homely.

Norman, one of our resident was a huge fan of gardening and today he sat on guard pointing his son and our staff in the right direction to add some new colourful flowers to our Reception Area.

How beautiful does it look!

Everyone worked so hard to ensure we started bringing to summer colours into our home, bringing a sense of welcome as you walk through our doors 💜.

🌟 A BIG THANK YOU 🌟

Can you all please join us in showing our up most appreciation for our staff member Hugh 👏

Hugh works as a Kitchen Assistant in our Kitchen and over this past week, he has helped out with our activities to ensure that we gave 2 of our special staff members a celebratory send off into retirement.

Hugh volunteers to provide the music for most of our parties without hesitation and never asks for anything, he does this out of the goodness of his heart to ensure we can bring our staff, residents and families together to keep our BHappie home alive!

Jo has enjoyed her pamper morning today.

She hasn't been feeling well and asked for a nice pamper so that's exactly what Sarah did.

Jo expressed that she felt so much better.

🥳 HAPPY RETIREMENT THELMA 🥳

Join us in wishing one of our Housekeepers Thelma a Happy Retirement.

We arranged a Retirement Party for Thelma on Manby unit where Thelma worked along side our staff, residents, families and friends to celebrate her last day.

We had a lovely afternoon singing and dancing celebrating Thelma.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication for the last 28 years here at Ryland View, you are a very valid member of our team and wish you all the best in your retirement.

We will miss you!

💥 Raffle Prizes 💥

If anyone has any unwanted gifts that they don't want they would be greatly appreciated here at Ryland View so I can do a Raffle for our garden party.

All money raised from our Raffle will be put back into our Activity fund for the rest of the years entertainment.

🥳HAPPY RETIREMENT GLORIA 🥳

Please join us in wishing one of our care assistant's Gloria a very happy retirement.

Gloria has been with us at Ryland View for 9 years now and we are sad to say that she is leaving us, but all for good reasons.

We arranged for a surprise Retirement Party on Haines House where Gloria worked along side our staff, residents, families and friends to celebrate in style as we say our final goodbyes. We've had a wonderful afternoon full of singing, dancing, tears, joy and a fantastic way to celebrate Gloria.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication for the last 9 years here at Ryland View, you are a very valid member of our team and wish you all the best in your retirement 🥰.

Rest up and enjoy a long deserved break!
