Join us for the biggest, brightest art event the town has ever seen, it's going to be un-bear-lievable! From 10th July, the Royal town will home eight beautifully designed giant Sun Bears and ten cubs as part of The Big Sleuth. So named because sleuth is the collective noun for a group of bears, The Big Sleuth will once again inspire residents and tourists to uncover Birmingham’s cultural gems and discover areas of the city they may not have explored before. Presented by public art specialists, Wild In Art, in partnership with Birmingham Children’s Hospital, The Big Sleuth will see giant bear and not so giant bear cub statues land in locations across the city, including right here in Royal Sutton Coldfield. Each bear has been designed and created by a host of local artists, and thanks to the generosity of sponsors, including Sutton Coldfield Town Centre BID and The Gracechurch Centre, the event is free for all to enjoy. What’s more at the end of the 10 week trail, the bears will be auctioned off to raise vital funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital!
