It's Spring Equinox!
A Prayer for the Vernal Equinox
The Call to Balance
In this moment of equal day and equal night,
we pause at the threshold of the turning season.
We honor the stillness of the winter behind us
and the quickening of the life before us.
The Blessing of the Earth
May the soil beneath our feet begin to stir,
warming with the promise of hidden roots.
May the frozen places within us begin to thaw,
releasing what is stagnant to make room for what is new.
The Planting of Intent
We sow the seeds of our intentions this day:
Courage to break through the surface,
Patience to grow in our own timing,
Vision to reach toward the increasing light.
The Closing
As the birds return and the buds swell,
may our hearts open in symphony with the world.
Blessed be the greening, the growing, and the grace.
And so it is.

The Threshold Ritual: Read this aloud while standing in a doorway to symbolize the transition between seasons.
The Garden Start: Write a single word (like "Peace" or "Growth") on a scrap of paper and bury it in a pot of soil as you recite the middle stanza.
