Pakistan experienced one of its most destructive monsoon seasons in 2025, with over 1,000 deaths, millions displaced, and widespread damage to homes, crops, and infrastructure across the country

In South Punjab, families in Bahawalpur District are still living with the devastation of catastrophic floods.

When embankments collapsed, more than 100 villages — including Ahmadpur East — were submerged. Over 150,000 people were affected, and thousands of mud homes were destroyed within hours.

Today, many families remain without permanent shelter — exposed to cold, illness, and uncertainty.

A Long-Term Solution: Climate Resilient Homes
Action For Humanity (AFH) are launching a Climate Resilient Homes project in South Punjab - designed not just to rebuild houses, but to rebuild communities.
